Start at the church square (plenty of parking available).
(S/E) Head towards Sennely on the D126. Turn right onto Rue du Chemin des Sentes. Pass the cemetery on your left.
Old yellow and red markings (GR® de Pays de Sologne)
(1) At the intersection, leave Chemin des Sentes and continue straight ahead on the grassy path. Ignore the adjacent paths and continue north.
(2) When you reach the crossroads at Les Bertelotières, keep heading north.
(3) At the Tressoux crossroads, continue straight ahead towards the north to cross an open area.
Marked "CR" (rural path). This marking applies to all rural paths encountered and is therefore not specific to the hiking trail.
(4) Walk along the Gâts pond and turn left into the lane marked "Propriété Milouans" as this path is communal (the "Private property" sign does not apply here). Pass between two ponds, then the private property on your right, and take the path marked CR, recognisable by the wooden posts prohibiting access to motor vehicles.
(5) Pass between the posts again, then turn right onto a stabilised path.
(6) At the tarmac road, turn left towards the centre of Sennely. Walk along the left side of the church and market hall and follow the Grand Rue. At the crossroads, turn left onto Rue de la Forêt (D12) and leave Rue de Villechaume on your right (D17).
(7). Turn left onto Chemin des Bastes. After the Bâtes pond, keep to the left, ignoring the paths on the right. Continue south, ignoring the adjacent paths. Pass the hamlet of La Brossinière on your right and ignore the grassy paths on either side.
(8) At the crossroads of forest paths, turn left, pass a path on your right, then turn right heading south. Ignore the various adjacent paths, pass the Croix des Brosses, then turn left onto the next cross path.
(9) At the crossroads, take the open path that leads to the village of Souvigny. Take the D101 on the left to reach the church square (S/E).
