Manthes walks

In the heart of the Bonnevaux Forest, this is an easy, short walk with plenty of shade in summer. You will walk alongside several ponds.

From Charmes-sur-l'Herbasse, a short circuit passes by the Château de Charmes, a private property that is open to visitors, then winds pleasantly through the woods with a few views of the surrounding hills.

Hikes in the woods and countryside around Saint-Donat-sur-L'Herbasse, with views of the Vercors mountain range and the Herbasse valley, and discovery of the forest's biodiversity.

In a wood near Saint Barthélémy de Vals, these rocks form a group of 51 blocks arranged in three roughly concentric circles covering nearly 6 hectares, hence the name "Cromlech de la Roche qui danse" (Dancing Rock Cromlech). Visit the old town of Condrieu, climb up to the village of Semons and enjoy the view over the market garden plain of Ampuis. Descent into the vineyards of the Côtes Rôties to discover the intertwining terraces and low walls.

A walk in the southern foothills of the Chambarans offering beautiful views of the Vercors and, at times, the Chartreuse and the Monts d'Ardèche. There are no difficulties to be feared on this walk, apart from the distance. You will be walking on dirt tracks, footpaths and small asphalt roads.
