One of the most beautiful hikes in Corsica. The path is pleasant, with part of it in the woods. The arrival at the lake is a magical moment. The lake appears in a setting, even if there are a few people around, the place is conducive to quiet conversation. A very beautiful place for a picnic.

For this last stage, as soon as you leave Evisa, take the discovery trail and descend the beautiful Spelunca Gorges. After the Genoese bridge at Pianella, you will arrive at the beautiful village of Ota and descend towards the marina at Porto.

This route is shaded, making it ideal on hot days! It is suitable for children, who will enjoy playing in the water afterwards. When you start the hike after the bridge over the Porto River, you will see signs indicating that the route is closed due to bad weather. These signs are old and there is no problem until the bridge. Apparently, there are landslides on the path after the Zaglia bridge towards Evisa.

A very beautiful hike that allows you to walk along the ridges and discover Lake Nino in a beautiful valley surrounded by stone mountains.

After our break at the Col de Vergio, we head back towards the sea. During this stage, we will cross the beautiful Aîtone forest with its swimming pools and paved paths in some places.

This paved path, supported by a magnificent dry stone wall, can be considered exceptional for the quality of its construction. It was the only route available to those travelling by mule from Piana to Porto and Ota in the early19th century. The Piana-Porto road was only opened in 1850 by Napoleon III. Loop starting from the Genoese bridge at Albertacce, first following the Viru, a tributary of the Golo, to the Moulin de Muricciolu, then a pretty balcony path above the Golo to the footbridge over the Golo.

Second day of the hike between Corte and Porto. The trail begins by climbing up to Bocca Arinella, where we discover our destination: after Lake Calacuccia, the village of Albertacce.

This third stage takes us to the Col de Vergio, the highest point of the day, which marks the start of the descent to Porto. We will pass by the beautiful Radule waterfall and its pools, which are perfect for swimming.

A magnificent and unmissable hike. Caution: the passage of ladders and cables before Lac Melo and the descent of this section may prove difficult for those not accustomed to using this equipment and also to stony paths. 20/05/2024: Hike modified. This short hike will take you to the Genoese tower of Omigna, along the coastline of the point of the same name. The tower has been beautifully restored and offers views of the Sanguinaires Islands to the south and Capo Rosso to the north.

This beautiful hike allows you to discover the Capo Rosso coastline up to the top of the Genoese tower overlooking the cape. The easy path at the beginning ends on the rocks that form Capo Rosso. The hike is a round trip from the car park to the top of the Genoese tower at Turghiu.

One of the most beautiful hikes on the west coast. It allows you to discover the Gulf of Girolata from the mountains. Many visitors arrive by boat, which drops tourists off on the beach for half an hour. This route takes you along the coast, where you can discover the gulf, the fort and the beach as you turn the corner. Take the time to explore Girolata, see the narrow streets and have a picnic on the beaches behind Girolata.

This is a great hike, best done in the morning. Superb views of the Prunelli and Gravone valleys. No difficulties, very well marked route in yellow.
