The walk around Lake Serru

Park in the large car park below the lake.

(S/E) Leave the car park and take the road, using the shortcuts in places. At the final hairpin bend, join the path that goes round the lake.

(1) Take the path opposite, called the Sentiero Glaciologico, and follow the lake along its left bank to reach the stream fed by the large waterfall.

(2) Cross the stream via the footbridge and begin the only uphill section, which takes you past the boulders. Continue along the hillside to reach the small lake.

(3) Continue along the right-hand bank until you reach a track directly below the dam.

(4) Begin the descent along a winding path to return to the car park (S/E).
