Juigné-sur-Sarthe walks

The Sarthe gave its name to our department. This route between Sablé-sur-Sarthe and Solesmes will allow you to walk along the river on the towpath and offer you beautiful views.

An easy walk that can be done on foot or by bike. The first part, which is less pleasant, is in full sun, so bring a hat if it is hot. Views of pretty manors and a very pleasant walk along the Sarthe.

If you are staying in Sablé-sur-Sarthe for a few days, take a morning to enjoy the scenery along the Sarthe river and discover the château, viaduct, locks and abbey.

An easy route that allows you to discover a rich and varied heritage while walking along the Sarthe river.

This lovely walk will take you through the countryside of southern Mayenne and the small villages of Saint-Brice and Les Agêts, with their rich industrial heritage (brickworks and lime kilns). You can extend your walk to the Bellebranche forest or head to Bouère and its many attractions.

This route will allow you to discover the Mayenne countryside and its landscapes. Don’t miss the Croix des Chouans, a 3-metre-high monument erected in the 19th century and featuring a medieval cross. Finally, once the walk is over, don’t forget to take a look at the River Erve and the pretty houses lining its banks.

The Mottes route in Saint-Denis-d'Anjou will take you on a tour of this charming little town, its market halls, its church and the countryside of Haut-Anjou.

Following the marked trails, you will cross the Petite Cité de Caractère (Small Town of Character) of Saulges and enter the limestone walls of a superb canyon.

This hike will allow you to discover the countryside between Grez-en-Bouère and Bouère. You will pass close to the Taude river and will also be able to see a few châteaux. In Bouère, don't miss the lovely views of the quarries.

This route, which forms a double circular route along the Vègre, will take you past a variety of biodiversity and heritage sites.

This 7.6km route is primarily aimed at walkers who want to take the time to discover the richness of our heritage.

Bazouges Castle and the countryside: stroll through fields, orchards and woodland along quiet country lanes or dirt tracks.

Come and discover the charming little paths north of Sainte-Suzanne. Along the way, you can visit the English camp (or Beugy camp) and enjoy a beautiful view of the Mayenne countryside.

Come and discover the architectural and heritage treasures offered by this route and the sunken paths! You will get a glimpse of the Grande Charnie Forest. Marked route "No. 29". This route can be combined with the "Tour de Viviers" route to reach Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie.

This route will take you along the hedgerow paths between Sainte-Suzanne and Chammes.

This route, which starts in Coulans-sur-Gée, includes a significant proportion of small country roads, as well as old footpaths and wide, newly created scenic paths to complete the circular route.
