Starting from the village mill, set off to explore the sunken lanes of Muneville-le-Bingard. Some of the sunken paths were reopened by volunteers from the Bocage et Patrimoine Munevillais association in 2024. A few paths are maintained by volunteers, depending on their availability, and the grass may be a little high at certain times of the year.

After an initial section in the Cotentin countryside, the route continues across grasslands, home to salt marsh sheep, along the River Sienne and its mouth.

Pointe d'Agon is a magnificent protected natural area that you can explore on this route. On this site, which has been listed since 1989, you can gradually discover this exceptional area as you walk along the coastline and through the dunes covered with marram grass (perennial plants that grow in sandy soil).

A hike that starts in the middle of the dunes near the sea and goes to Le Havre de la Vanlée, the beautiful mouth of this river in the English Channel. The return journey is further inland and, in hot weather, offers welcome shade.

At the mouth of the small coastal river La Vanlée, a hike close to the sea and its vast horizons. The route alternates between passages through the dunes, the salt marshes where salt-meadow sheep graze, and the beach.

This picturesque little village, nestled in the heart of the Sienne Valley, will enchant you with its peaceful setting and lush greenery. Its few houses, built from local stone, surround the church. You will notice that the slopes of this valley are covered with beech trees, whose hard, uniform wood is used in carpentry and cabinetmaking, as well as simply for firewood.

Between Sienne and Hambyotte, this route invites you to discover the Normandy countryside via numerous sunken lanes where, in the meadows that line them, Prim'Holstein cows, originally from Holland, mingle with Normande cows, the region's emblematic breed. At the end of the route, Hambye Abbey awaits you with its13th-century chapter house.

Discovery of the Upper Town of Granville and the childhood home of the fashion designer Christian Dior, transformed into a museum, starting from the Donville-les-Bains beach.

On the west coast of the Cotentin, from wild dunes to cultivated dunes, you will encounter a wide variety of environments in a largely unspoilt area. At the edge of the dunes, overlooking the harbour of Portbail, the trail offers magnificent views.

Chausey Island (more specifically La Grande Île) is a must-see for tourists visiting La Manche and the surrounding area. This route allows you to explore the island on a pleasant and comprehensive walk.The island itself is exceptionally beautiful and wild. The surrounding seascapes are also stunning. It is said that at high tide there are as many islands visible as there are weeks in the year (52) and at low tide as many as there are days in the year (365).

The hike is accessible to a wide range of people as there are no difficult sections.

Set off to explore Brévands, a picturesque little village in the Baie des Veys at the heart of the polders, rich in built and natural heritage. Walk along the dirt tracks, follow the Douve river and admire the typical buildings of the area.

Walk from Saint-Jean-le-Thomas to Cabane Vauban, along the coastal path and then back inland.

This route follows the road, then crosses the village before taking sandy or stone paths with views of the Hatainville dunes, the cape, the old church, the lighthouse, the harbour, etc.

Starting from the port of Barneville, set off to explore the Dunes of Hatainville, an exceptional and unspoilt natural area. In the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, a hike mainly along the coastal path with an almost permanent view of the bay and the Mont. From the tip of the Grouin du Sud, the spectacle of the rising tide is superb. A loop inland allows you to visit the beautiful and moving Romanesque chapel of the Prieuré Saint-Léonard.

This charming walk combines the Cotentin countryside (hedgerows, orchards, etc.) with a little historical heritage: wayside crosses (Romanesque period), tower mills (19th century) and a covered walkway (Neolithic period). Duration: 2½ hours, no more!

In the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, a hike mostly along the coastal path, along the salt marshes. On either side of the Grouin du Sud, you can enjoy a superb view of Mont Saint-Michel and, from the point itself, the spectacle of the rising tide is impressive. Returning inland, you can visit the beautiful and moving Romanesque chapel of the Priory of Saint-Léonard.

A rocky headland close to Cancale to discover thanks to the customs trails (GR®34). The coastline, interspersed with small sandy coves, is ideal for all kinds of summer activities. Walkers will be surprised if they expect a flat, unattractive trail. If there are occasional sunken paths, it's to allow a rest before rocky areas and steep gradients.

Loop between land and sea around Cancale via St Coulomb, following theGR®34andGR®34Atrails.

This section ofthe GR® 34trail, which leads to the legendary Pointe du Grouin, has been used by some of the great names in French history: the family of Constable Bertrand du Guesclin, the writer Colette and the singer Léo Ferré. Follow in their footsteps from Touesse Beach along theGR® 34 from Pointe des Grands Nez to Pointe du Nid. On the way back, you will pass by the Malouinière La Motte aux Chauff.

A magnificent GR®34 that, at times, offers passages worthy of a mountain GR®, with magnificent views over the beaches, rocks and sea, not forgetting the multitude of rocky islets visible at low tide but covered at high tide. This short tour of the Côte d'Émeraude gives a magnificent overview.

Hike along a coastal path overlooking the sea to Pointe du Meinga, with views of the superb Plage de l'Anse de la Touesse and Pointe du Grouin to the right and Rothéneuf to the left of the tip.

The commune of Saint-Coulomb had twenty malouinières spread across its territory. Malouinières are the country residences of Saint-Malo shipowners. Most were built between 1680 and 1730. Their architecture was strongly influenced by military engineers. Their style is uniform (granite from the Chausey Islands). This route, in a vegetable-growing countryside, allows you to discover some of them in different sizes. Only the one in Ville Bague is open to visitors.
