Departure from the church in Hauteville-sur-Mer (spacious car park along Rue de l'Église).
Hiking signs or signposts + yellow markings
Up to the point (8), follow the Circuit de la Tourelle au Capitaine, whose signs are marked with a yellow marker and whose signposts have a yellow background. You will come across other signposted routes with yellow or green markers, but ignore these.
(S/E) At the foot of the church tower, take Rue des Giberies and then immediately right onto Rue des Écoles. Walk past the church on your right and, after an access road to houses on the right, the tarmac gives way to a wide gravel path. Pass at the foot of the Tourelle au Capitaine (at no. 10) and you will come to a T-junction.
Follow the path on the left between the fields: there are beautiful views of Pointe d'Agon and Le Havre de Regnéville on the left and the church of Montmartin on the right. The path gives way to a tarmac road leading downhill. At a crossroads (EDF power station on the left), continue straight ahead. Ignore a dead end on the right and you will come to a three-way junction.

(1) Then follow the D356 to the left towards Hauteville-sur-Mer (ignore the yellow markings on the right). At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead (ignore the D356 turning left) and immediately ignore a path on the right. At the next junction, turn right onto the D156 towards Regnéville-sur-Mer and you will immediately come to a fork.
(2) Leave the D156 and turn left onto a smaller, tree-lined road. Continue straight ahead for about 1 km, heading due west, ignoring all side roads and a junction. After the last campsite on the right, leave the road (which turns left under the name Allée des Ajoncs) and continue straight ahead on a sandy path. Walk along a fence on your left, pass a gate on your right and you will reach the seafront.
Hiking signs and markers + red and white markings
(3) Turn left and follow the sea along a tarmac path. When the path ends at a beach, turn left (the dunes are off-limits for conservation reasons). Follow the fence of a campsite on your right and take the first right, Rue des Garennes. Make a zigzag left-right turn and follow Place de Normandie (car park on your right). At the crossroads, turn right and continue straight ahead to the sea (Cale Nord).
(4) Then follow the seafront pier to the left and head south for about 750 metres until you reach Cale Sud (sailing school opposite on the left).
(5) Then turn left. Take the first right, Rue d'Annoville towards Annoville-Dunes. Pass the Annoville-Plage sign and turn left onto the small road. You will reach the dune car park on the right-hand side (hiking signs).
Hiking signs and markers + yellow markings
(6) Continue straight ahead along the road (ignore theGR®223on the right). Walk alongside the houses on the left and a fenced-off wood on the right. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead along Rue Méautis and cross a river.
(7) When you reach an isolated house on the right-hand side with white plaster, leave the road and turn left onto a path. After about 100 metres, you will come to a road. Follow it to the left. After about 50 metres, turn right onto Chemin des Souvilles (gravel path). Leave the access road to a horse farm on your right and continue north-west on a tree-lined path between the meadows. At the next crossroads, turn right onto Chemin des Courtils.
No signposts or markings
(8) At the end of the path, turn right onto Rue des Pavillons (ignore the yellow markings on the left). Pass the château of the same name on your right. At the three-way junction, turn left onto Rue de la Brasserie. Cross the hamlet (beautiful houses) and, at the next crossroads, turn left towards the town hall.
At the next fork, take Rue du Four on the left. Then turn into the first right, Ruelle au Capitaine (the name of the street is spelled "Ruette" locally). At the end, with the church opposite, you will find the car park where you started on your left (S/E).
