Geville walks

A lovely walk through vineyards and orchards, with beautiful views of the Lorraine vineyards and the chance to discover typical Lorraine villages and their unique characteristics. No particular difficulty, walking on good paths There are many trails and signposts in this region, but this route does not follow any particular signposting. It is therefore advisable to follow the description and map or GPS route carefully.

A pleasant walk starting from Ochey, mostly through the woods, allowing you to discover a very pleasant spot, the Fontaine d'Ochey, a pretty turquoise blue resurgence, pouring out a good volume of water at this time of year (early April), but also worth seeing at other times.

A memorial hike on a site where very deadly battles took place between February and April 1915, considered by some historians to be a prelude to the Battle of Verdun (nearby), which was triggered a year later.
