A trail in the heart of the Double Forest that winds through woods and paths, crossed here and there by a small stream. Ponds will appear as you walk along. A very shaded trail, ideal for families as there is little road.

From pretty little meadows enclosed in the forest to forest paths in the undergrowth, this hike allows you to discover numerous ponds and the diversity of the landscapes of the Double forest.

The starting point of the route, Guîtres Abbey (11th and 15th centuries) is an imposing monument located on the Way of St James. We will continue our walk through the gentle Pays Gabay (pronounced gabaye) to meet three rivers, the Isle, the Dronne and the Lary.

A short loop to explore the surroundings of the village of Saint-Sulpice-de-Roumagnac, 8 km from Riberac, with virtually no roads. Peaceful, with little chance of meeting anyone. Good footwear is essential. Walking poles are a bonus.

Starting from the quays of Castillon-la-Bataille, this alternative route takes you to the hillsides of Castillonnais, offering breathtaking views of the Dordogne valley. Explore the valleys and admire the panorama.

Take this route through the vineyards, which will lead you from the quays of Castillon-la-Bataille to Blasimon and its abbey. Finish this itinerary at the Blasimon leisure centre.

A lodge for pilgrims on the Way of St James, an aviary, an 18th-century mill, a magnificent Petit Trianon-style château, an important and magnificent collection of iron sculptures, not to mention a beautiful view of the mountains. Let's continue with some Grands Crus and beautiful views of the rolling hills.

From the old Saint-Laurent-des-Combes railway station, at a place called Barbeyron, you will climb back up towards Saint-Émilion with exceptional views of the medieval town. After skirting the town, this hike will take you through the heart of the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru vineyards.

The route is fairly hilly and varied, with the banks of the Isle, vineyards, woodland, beautiful views, castles and stately homes.

This village and its monastery date back to the Middle Ages. It was probably founded by monks attracted by the presence of a fountain. In this wine-growing commune, you will enjoy a very pleasant walk through rolling countryside.

As you walk along this route, keep your eyes open! Around a bend in the path or beyond a fence, you will discover traces of the past: wells, dovecotes and mills. You may also meet winegrowers who will tell you about their passion and offer you a taste of their wines.

A bucolic, hilly hike with beautiful views. It starts with a steep climb, but once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful view of the Dordogne valley and Castillon-la-Bataille. The route takes you through vineyards, woods and meadows, with little tarmac. It ends with another steep climb, but less steep than the one at the start.

The commune, through which the Ruisseau du Courbut flows, is made up of two plateaux that slope down towards the Dordogne. You can enjoy a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, surrounded by the magnificent surrounding countryside of vineyards and forests.

Set off on a picturesque bike ride through the Brannais region and discover its magnificent Romanesque churches. Let yourself be charmed by the architecture of these historic buildings, witnesses to a rich cultural past.
