Head to the Tourist Information Centre and park.
(S/E) Head towards the signpost nearby and turn right to cross the meadow, keeping the signpost on your right. Then turn left at a 90° angle to join the road (Rue Émile Zola). Once at the road, turn right and cross the railway line.
(1) Turn immediately right (Rue de la Brandille) and then, after about 200 metres, turn left. You can admire a pond on your right, which you’ll walk alongside. At the end of the path, turn left and continue until you reach a four-way junction where you’ll rejoin Rue Émile Zola.
(2) Turn right. After passing the houses in Gorre, turn right again, then left 100 metres further on, just before the pond. Carry on straight ahead and, at the end of the road, turn left to return to Rue Émile Zola. Turn right, cross a small stone bridge and continue to the three-way junction.
(3) Keep to the left. At the T-junction, follow the road to the right with care for about 200 metres, then turn left. Cross the bridge over the Ruisseau de la Lande.
(4) On your right, you can see the site of the former Fête de la Madeleine. Just after that, the Chapelle de la Madeleine des Brandes is on your left. Then take two 90° left turns, cross another bridge and enter the hamlet of La Mouthe. At the junction, turn right.
(5) Turn left, then keep right at the next junction and carry on straight ahead across the fields to the edge of a small wood.
(6) Turn left without entering the woods and, a little further on, you’ll come to the tarmac road. Turn right at the crossroads and walk alongside the campsite.
(7) Head diagonally left towards Le Galant, then take the first road on the left. Ignore the road on the left leading to a few houses and carry on straight ahead towards the woods. The small road runs parallel to the railway line, curving to the left, and reaches a junction near a level crossing.
(8) Turn right, then take the path on the left without crossing the level crossing. The path runs alongside the railway line, then veers away to the left, rejoining a tarmac road almost opposite a pond.
(9) Follow the road to the right, cross a bridge just before reaching the four-way junction you passed on the way out.
(2) Turn right.
(1) Cross the railway line, then turn left to reach the Tourist Information Centre and the car park (S/E).
