(S/E) From the signpost in the church car park: cross Place Aristide Briand to the church forecourt, then head west along Avenue de la Résistance for approximately 700 m. Turn left down Chemin du Bataillon Violette for 600 m.
(1) Turn right at the Monument de la Plaine, follow the road to a junction, then turn left.
Do not take the Vallée de l'Isle route. Head towards the riverbank by following the field.
(2) Turn left and follow the river. At the end of the path, turn left then right to rejoin the road heading east, Route de Fonrazade, for 700 m.
(3) A sign points you towards: banks of the Isle / picnic area / information panel, leading you under the Fonrazade bridge. Go under the bridge and join the “Quai des Forges” road.
(4) At the “Coly” sign, leave the small road and take the path on the right that runs alongside the river. A little further on, you will cross a footbridge beneath which you can admire an old lock from the Coly forges. On your right is the house of the director of the former forges. Return to the road for 200 m, then turn right.
(5) Continue along this road until you reach the junction.
(6) At the junction, turn right then left and head back up towards the village centre, Place de l’Église (S/E).
