A trail with the fresh scent of the pine forest, to be explored on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback (watch out for bumps!) at the foot of the Cistercian abbey. A trail featuring puzzles and riddles!

Description of the walk

Start in front of the statue of Saint Bernard in the car park of the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Bonne Espérance in Échourgnac.

(S/E) Cross the car park towards the Bois de Chêne. Continue to the water tower.

(1) Walk round the water tower, cross the road and take the limestone path opposite until you reach the signposted path on the right.

(2) Leave the limestone path and take this dirt track, following it to the clearing by the hunting car park.

(3) Return via the road to the car park (S/E).

Near this walking trail, there is a geocaching trail (Terraventura) starting from the village of Échourgnac. Theabbey church and the monastery shop can be visited during opening hours.
