Parking is available near the restaurant "Le Musculus", located on Rue Principale at the intersection with Rue de la Féodalité in Scharrachbergheim.
(S/E) Return to the centre by following the D225.
(1) Cross the road to the right and take the cycle path. Continue on the cycle path until you reach the D45 road.
(2) Turn left onto the road and then immediately left onto the path parallel to the cycle path. Start of the red circle and blue circle markings. At the first fork, keep right and continue straight ahead at the crossroads further on. Join the D118.
(3) Cross the road, take and follow the dirt track opposite, below the vineyards, parallel to the road.
(4) Turn left at right angles into the vineyards. Then turn right onto the vineyard path - follow the blue and red circles. The path then makes a series of left and right turns, passes a reservoir and reaches a junction in a bend at an elevation of 301 metres. Go straight ahead.
(5) About 50 metres further on, turn right onto the forest road and continue straight ahead at the fork just after it. You will reach Scharrach.
(6) Altitude 301 m - You can visit the blockhouse in the forest behind the sign and then retrace your steps. Next, take the small path on the left, opposite the sign, towards the hill.
(7) Viewpoint. Continue along the path to the vineyard path. At the crossroads, take the vineyard path on the right and continue straight ahead, keeping north-northeast.
(8) At the junction with Rue Principale, turn left and follow the road to the starting point (S/E).
