Short circular around Carlux
A circular loop to the east of the village of Carlux, mostly shaded, with magnificent views, small valleys of remarkable tranquillity, and beautiful Périgord houses. Not to be missed if you have two hours to spare.

A short, easy hike between La Roque-Gageac and Castelnaud with beautiful views of the village and the castles of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Beynac and the Dordogne valley. Crossing the stream to reach the viewpoint is optional.

Put yourself in the shoes of the Lord of Lasserre and visit his lands between the dairy farm of Pech Mortier and the ruins of the mill on the banks of the Beune, passing by the castle. The return trip is via Marcillac, between fields and forests.
