Coming from Souillac, heading towards Le Roc on the D43, the car park is located at the sewage treatment plant; it is the first road on the right after crossing the bridge.
(S/E) Take the sunken path, cross the D43 and join the Chemin du Coustal. Head up towards Cieurac and walk along the foot of the château.
(1) Walk past the castle and continue along the Chemin des Écureuils. Above the Dordogne, reach the highest point at a multi-way junction.
(2) Turn right and head down the Route de Gimel. You’ll reach a junction just before the D43.
(3) Turn left onto the Chemin des Caussillous. Follow the edge of the woodland until you reach another junction in the Combe de Cuiller.
(4) Walk down to the path, cross the D43 with care and continue along this path until you reach a tarmac road. Turn left onto it and head for the left bank of the Dordogne.
(5) Turn right to follow the banks of the Dordogne and, at a bend in the river, you’ll come to a swimming spot and a path junction.
(6) Turn right here and head for the car park at the sewage treatment works (S/E).
