The Saar Loop (Germany)
A hike that will take you to one of the most beautiful places in the Saarland: the Saar Loop.
Le Grand Rougimont-Chte Turquestein-Roche aux fées
A magnificent hike, with no major difficulties apart from access to the Grand Rougimont - the ruins of Turquestein Castle - the fairy rock and the boundary stone trail, which will take you back to the Middle Ages.

Circular route of the Grand and Petit Rougimont rocks and Trois Pierres
I had wanted to hike in this mountain range for a long time, and now I've done it! There were signs prohibiting passage on a previous route, but I didn't really know where to find them, so I set off on an adventure and ended up finding an "authorised passage".
So, under a bright sun, I was able to access these iconic red sandstone rocks and enjoy the exceptional 360° view from the Grand Rougimont viewpoint over the Donon and the Lorraine plateau.
For those who appreciate the iconic natural curiosities of the Northern Vosges, don't hesitate to visit the Trois Pierres and Petit Rougimont: they are well worth the detour in a magnificent forest setting!
The Saar River bend from Orscholz
This beautiful hike takes you on a journey of discovery along a magnificent bend in the Saar River, starting from the Cloef Atrium car park in Orsholz (part of the municipality of Mettlach). The route gradually descends to the viewpoint and then to the riverbank before climbing back up to the starting point, all within a splendid forest setting.
Circular Sarre from Orscholz
Circular Sarre: it goes up and down. A short boat trip across the Sarre during the hike for a few euros. A magnificent spot, you can grab a drink at a bar by the water and then set off again. Really very nice.
Walks near Sarre (rivière)
From Salm to the Tête du Coquin
This first stage is probably the hardest day of the route. Beautiful views, pleasant trails and few forest roads. A steep climb at the end of the day explains the "Difficult" rating.
Three days around the Val de Senones with bivouacs
Three days of hiking and camping around the Val de Senones, passing by beautiful viewpoints. Campsites at the Tête du Coquin and the Haute Loge.
Mountain biking in the Vosges, Day 4: Hohwald - Chatenois (Part 1)
This route is the first part of thefourth stage of a seven-day tour of the Alsatian side of the Vosges mountains. Most of the route is on forest roads in good condition. The signage is excellent, consisting of signs with an orange or red mountain bike logo and the letters TMV (Traversée du Massif Vosgien).
