A walk to discover the town of Cadet Roussel, taking in the iconic sites of the historic centre and the banks of the Yonne. Allow a full day to cover these almost 7 km, including visits to the churches and breaks by the Yonne.
The Col de Crémant and Plaine du Sausse circular loop
A very pleasant walk: from the top of the hills, the view is superb, provided the sky is clear.
The first part is winding and hilly until Cravant, but the return journey is on a flat, tarmac path along the Canal du Nivernais and the Yonne.
The Water Trail in Gurgy
Situated on the banks of the Yonne, Gurgy has been home to Saint-André Church since the 10th century. The fish ladder, the river stop and its ponds make this village a place centred around its river and nature. The fountain tour in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux
A magnificent hike around a Burgundy wine-growing village in the south of Auxerre: Saint-Bris-le-Vineux.
A 10.8 km circular route will take you past eight fountains among the vineyards.
In the village, you can admire the 13th-century church and its Jesse tree, the 17th-century château and its Renaissance gate, as well as some beautiful vaulted cellars.

Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, the only wine-growing village in Burgundy to produce Sauvignon, also boasts a remarkable heritage. Let yourself be charmed by the labyrinthine cellars and the Church of Saint-Prix-Saint-Cot after walking through the vineyards. Along the way, don’t miss the exceptional view from the orientation table in the ‘Douzein’ woods.

Cravant and Vermenton, the former aeronautical lighthouse
This hike was created with the aim of finding the old aeronautical lighthouse in the woods, which was used for night flights by the Aéropostale in the 1930s! The route is fairly simple and fairly clear. You are sure to see horses and deer, and enjoy the panoramic views.
Keephold and Nièvre Canal in Cravant
A very easy hike, with a return trip along the Canal d'Acconay and then the Canal de la Nièvre. The section through the woods offers a beautiful view of Accolay.
Merry-Sec and its wash houses

The name of the village of Merry-Sec is certainly misleading! Admittedly, there is little water on the surface, but there are so many springs and wash houses along this route.
Cuissy

Starting from the village surrounded by hills, the walk inevitably gains altitude. The River Ouanne at the bottom of the valley is soon left behind in favour of historical remains: a chapel, old mills and wash houses.
