Departure from the Irancy orientation table: you can park there and admire the view! It's an ideal spot for a picnic and a nap!
(S/E) Set off along the road towards the picnic area.
(1) At the crossroads, turn right towards the gas facility, continue for a few dozen metres, then turn left. Continue walking along the vineyards on your right and reach the intersection just before the edge of a small wooded area.
(2) Turn gently to the right and continue to the next intersection at the antenna.
(3) Keep to the right, taking the path that descends gently.
(4) When you reach the woods, take the path on your left. It is marked as theGR®®13path from Auxerre to Vézelay, with white and red markings. You will walk along this narrow path (single track) passing by Belle Vue, which lives up to its name! Enjoy!
(5) At the end of the single track, take the path downhill on your right, keeping the vineyards on your right. Continue straight ahead until you reach a multi-directional crossroads.
(6) Take the first path on the right and continue with the Grande Côte vineyards on your right. You will come to a road junction.
(7) Go straight ahead and go around Belle Vue to the south.
(8) Instead of going straight down to Irancy, take the path on the right. Go straight ahead at the crossroads and continue through the vineyards until you reach the hairpin bend on the D38, where you will find a bench to rest on before the only steep climb.
(9) Face the wall a few metres to your right and enjoy the view of the village.
(10) At the crossroads after completing the climb, take the path on the left and walk through the vineyards to return to the starting point at the car park with the orientation table (S/E).
