The walk starts from Place du Château d'Eau. There is a large car park for vehicles.
(S/E) With your back to the water tower, head towards the left-hand corner of the car park, which leads to Rue de Nantou. At the bend, turn left onto Chemin des Bordats, marked by a sign indicating the fitness trail. After the last houses, the path becomes grassy. Descend, leaving the fitness trail on your right, until you reach a crossroads with four paths.
(1) Take the second path on the left, continuing downhill. At the crossroads, turn right. Pass a path on the right (not shown on the IGN map) and, at the fork, turn right to reach a road, leaving a turn-off on the right just before the descent to the road.
(2) Take the road on the right, cross Les Graillots and continue to a crossroads. Turn left towards Talin-le-Bas for about 150 metres.
(3) Go up the green path on the right. When you reach the road, continue straight on until you reach the entrance to Nantou.
(4) Cross and turn right towards Pourrain. On the climb, leave Chemin des Sources and, after the transformer, in the bend, go straight on along Rue du Tertre (dead end) which ends in a path. Continue for about 150 m.
(5) Turn sharply left. When you reach the fork, take the fairly steep climb on the right to reach a plateau. Stay on the main path (the layout of the area is not exactly as shown on the IGN map).
(6) Facing the relay antenna, turn right onto a grassy path with a power line in your sights. Pass under the power line and you will reach a cross path. Take it to the right, go around a bend to reach a semi-buried water tower.
(7) Continue straight ahead, leaving the next path on your right. After a bend, you will reach an intersection. Take the flat path on the right towards the woods.
(8) In front of the woods, descend to the left and, after about 200 m, enter the undergrowth. At the exit, continue straight ahead to reach a road.
(9) Take the road on the right and, at the bend, ignore the turn-off towards Nantou - Le Mousseau. Continue to the next bend.
(10) Take the path on the left, which climbs at the very beginning and then descends into the valley (beautiful view at the summit).
(11) At the Calvary (Croix Grillot), cross the road carefully and take the path opposite. At the crossroads, in front of a hedge, turn left. The village with its church and water tower come into view.
When you reach the entrance to Chemin de Bellevue on the right, pass between the large rocks and continue between the houses. Cross the roundabout and take Rue des Hâtes Barrées. When you reach Rue de Nantou, turn right to return to the car park (S/E).
