A pleasant and varied short hike following the Vaucouleurs valley. Along the way, you will pass through charming villages, castles and an old abbey.
The Rosny Forest

A mainly forest route west of Mantes-la-Jolie. Along the way, there are several remarkable trees and a few limestone grasslands, which constitute a unique natural heritage as well as a great opportunity to take a break.
The ruins of the Château des Beurons and the Chêne Mademoiselle

Through the fields and villages of the Mantois region and the eastern part of the Rosny Forest, this route takes you to discover ruins surprisingly located in the middle of the forest and a picturesque oak tree. The churches of Jouy-Mauvoisin and Petit Perdreauville, a manor house, a few beautiful farmhouses and a small heritage site linked to water complete the picture.
Woods, hillsides, fields and streams near Vert and Villette
On the agenda for this hike: two pretty little villages, local heritage, a walk through the woods and along the Vaucouleurs and Morand rivers.
Loop starting from Bennecourt via Vexin and Giverny

This hike will allow you to discover numerous panoramic views of the Seine hillsides and theGR®2trail between Sainte-Geneviève-lès-Gasny and Giverny. Countryside and forest will also be on the menu. You will also come across several churches and wash houses.
Loop around Guernes

During your walk, you will follow the Seine and one of its branches, as well as waterways that are home to various species of birds.
A short tour of the village of Guernes is also planned.
L'Etang Neuf, Haut Beaussart and Bois des Longues Mares

Between ponds, oak forests, pine forests and birch woods, this is a beautiful hike in the north of the Rambouillet Forest. A varied route in a peaceful setting.
Along the Eure, from Lormaye to Mormoulins
This easy, bucolic walk allows you to discover a little of the Eure, a peaceful river.
The starting point is a curiosity in itself: a town hall unlike any other.
The finish invites you into the pretty little town of Nogent-le-Roi, with its old half-timbered houses.
Thuilay Wood from Les Pâtis to Mittainville
A lovely walk, between fields of wheat and barley, and through the woods. In spring, the woods are full of white anemones, yellow lesser celandines and bluebells. The walk is not difficult. From the top of the fields, you can see all the surrounding countryside. It's very beautiful, especially when the rape fields are in flower.
The Dolmen de la Pierre Ardoue

In the heart of the Forêt de Rambouillet, a walk tinged with fern and heather, to discover a Neolithic dolmen and a charming valley along a stream.
Butte Ronde route
Short hike in the Bois de la Butte Ronde and Vallée des Grès. Along some of the paths, you can admire the enormous hundred-year-old oak trees. The Rambouillet Forest is managed by the ONF. The paths are well marked and the natural environment is very varied. You can easily go from birch and hornbeam trees to magnificent oaks, and from heather to ferns or grasses.
The Îlon Basin and the Bois de la Garenne

A hike with varied landscapes, in the hollow of a bend in the Seine: views of the river banks, a vast stretch of water, a nature reserve and bird observatories, cultivated plains and, finally, a pleasant walk through the Bois de la Garenne.
Forest, castle and view of the circular Seine at La Roche-Guyon
Starting from the foot of the castle, climb along the cliff, walk through the forest and enjoy a beautiful view of the circular bends in the Seine. On the way back, explore the village.
Walk along the Seine in the Moisson loop

A short walk that starts on a shaded path and ends along the Seine with beautiful views of the chalk cliffs on the opposite bank.

Rambouillet Forest - Angennes Rocks & Former Moulineaux Abbey

An easy walk in the forest, on the Rochers d'Angennes overlooking the valley, followed by a visit to the beautiful ruins of the Moulineaux Abbey.
Please note! Several hikers have reported that the route is difficult to follow at the site of the former abbey, between points (1) and (2)
According to the latest information, the passage near the former abbey is now closed and dangerous. The route has therefore been modified and the original route removed.
Chérence - Haute-Isle

Loop starting from Chérence. The Seine, troglodyte dwellings and gliders. Pass through the Coteaux de la Seine reserve, which is closed for nesting from 1 March to 30 June.
La Roche-Guyon: the castle, the forest, the flint cliffs

A very varied hike that combines:
