From the Mediterranean Sea to the foothills of the Corbières. The circular route I suggest mainly follows the Cathar Trail, from the start in Port-la-Nouvelle to Roquefort-des-Corbières and back. This hike can be completed in two days: see practical information.

First stage of a 2-day circular route starting from Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes, taking you to Cubières-sur-Cinoble on thefirst day. This is a fairly long stage with a significant elevation gain. It is possible to adapt the route as you wish, as there are numerousPR®,GR® 36, Cathar TrailGR®367- 367A andGRP® Tour des Fenouillèdes paths.

Day two: return to Caudiès-de-Fenouillède via the Pic or Pech de Bugarach.

This stage is the first part of a two-day circular around the Canigou Massif. This first stage takes you around the peak to the west, from the Mariailles Refuge to the Cortalets Refuge, via the Bonne Aigue Refuge. It's a good warm-up before the next day's climb.

Ascent to the Canigou massif from the west. Depart from the Mariailles refuge, following theGR®10to the Cortalets refuge. The next day, climb the peak then descend via the chimney and return via Pla de Cady to the Arago Refuge, before joining theGR®10and returning to Mariailles.

This day is devoted to the ascent of Pic du Canigou from the Refuge des Cortalets, and the descent via the chimney to the Refuge Arago, then to Mariailles, the starting point of the hike.

Day one: Climb up the Colombières Gorges towards the Caroux massif. Cross the Caroux massif towards Douch, then follow the Vialais stream before climbing back up to the Espinouse massif and settling down for the night.

On the second day, you can return to Colombières sur Orb from the summit of Espinouse via the Héric gorges.

Located in the Haut Languedoc Natural Park, the two massifs of Caroux and Espinouse offer a multitude of hikes. I suggest a two-day circuit that allows you to explore a variety of landscapes and admire the abundant wildlife (including mouflons). The hike starts from the car park below the church in Colombières sur Orb. The bivouac area is located around the summit of Espinouse. The second day is spent returning via the Heric Gorges, with the option of a final detour to the old chestnut groves on the mountainside.

A winter circular hike. Very beautiful places, where five exceptional architectural elements are gathered: the Château de Saint Quentin la Tour, the Château de Lagarde, the fortified village of Camon, the Château de Leran and the Château de Queille on its rocky outcrop. Please note: the bridge over the River Hers between waypoints 3 and 4 is undergoing repairs and will be closed until the end of 2017.

A circular two-day tour starting from Saint Guilhem le Désert. Start at the Verdus Gorges and the Cirque de l'Infernet and climb Mont Ste Baudille. Stop at Les Besses before heading back towards Le Coulet via theGR®74and returning to St Guilhem.

First part of a two-day circular route from Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert to the southern Larzac. Ascent via the Cirque de l'Infernet to reach Mont Saint-Baudille and arrive on the plateau. Following a fire on 5 April 2023 on the heights of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and Saint-Jean-de-Fos, the route remains passable but the Fenestrettes PR® is affected, as is the Arles route (GR®653). Please check with the Saint-Guilhem – Vallée de l'Hérault Tourist Office for information on the passability of the route.
