Permanent route in Pian-sur-Garonne
Starting from the City Stade car park and the school (below the town hall of Pian-sur-Garonne), this hilly route alternates between vineyard paths, forest trails and nature trails, offering ideal terrain for trail running, but also suitable for mountain biking or, of course, hiking.Throughout the route, you will enjoy magnificent panoramic views: over the Garonne valley, with views of Saint-Macaire and Langon, the villages of Verdelais and Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, and a passage near the Château de Malromé, dear to Toulouse-Lautrec.It is a varied route that combines physical effort, nature and the discovery of the region's wine-growing heritage.
Loupiac
A lovely walk through the Loupiac vineyards, between paths and a few sections of road. The latter are always topped by an embankment for those who don't like tarmac...
Located on the right bank of the Garonne, about 40 kilometres south-east of Bordeaux.

Loupiac circular loop
Circular route starting from Loupiac, in the hills of Entre Deux Mers. A mix of rural paths, farm tracks and narrow, quiet tarmac roads with passable verges. Very varied and changing hilly landscapes: vineyards, meadows, copses, little urbanisation. Stable terrain, regular ascents and descents spread throughout the route.
Domaine d'Hostens - Tour of the lakes
With no elevation gain, as it always follows the level of the ponds, this hike allows you to immerse yourself in the unspoilt nature of the wetlands of the Hostens departmental estate, created on a former lignite mine 40 km south of Bordeaux.

Circular route through the countryside, alternating between undergrowth and open spaces, with a few short sections on roads.
Around Saint-Morillon
Note: route and description created from the Saint-Morillon Town Hall guidebook: Boucle des Anciennes Landes. 95% of the route follows paths through the woods and is very pleasant.
It allows walkers to climb about 40 metres and cross a variety of landscapes. At the highest points, they will find themselves in what was once an area of moorland maintained for sheep. At the lowest points, they will feel the coolness of the Gât-Mort valley and the originality of its habitats. Experienced walkers will notice and appreciate the environmental changes along the way, both on the way up and on the way down, before returning to their starting point: the church square in the centre of the village of Saint-Morillon.
At the end of the hike, you will walk along the Gât Mort stream, passing the ruins of the Lusié mill before returning to Saint-Morillon. The old mill was once part of a noble house purchased in 1754 by Montesquieu.
The mills of Barthos
Hike in southern Gironde, with a succession of typical rural landscapes: old farms with tobacco drying sheds, the Landes de Gascogne forest and old mills.
The route follows the yellow or green departmental markings, along quiet country roads and forest paths.
Not to be done during the wood pigeon hunting season (early October to 15 November).
The Airials, the Petite Leyre and the sports trail from Luxey
Luxey is a small rural village best known for its "street music" show, which monopolises the village for three days, but also for its many unmarked footpaths. This attracts walkers looking for sporting activities (walking, mountain biking, mountain biking).

The vineyards of La Brède
Circular route through the vineyards and forest south of La Brède.
You will pass through the vineyards of Château La Blancherie, Château Magneau, Château Méric, Château Lassalle and Château Haut-Reys.
La Brède, a Graves vineyard on the edge of the Pessac-Léognan region, is a village renowned for its good living amidst woods and vineyards.

Langoiran circular (between vineyards and châteaux)
A lovely circular route that starts on the banks of the Garonne with its traditional fishing huts, then follows the Estey stream before crossing vineyards and reaching magnificent viewpoints before arriving at the medieval castle of Haut-Langoiran.
