Park at the end of the cul-de-sac in the Ruisseau du Pin housing estate; to do this, turn right as you enter the estate. Drive to the end and park at the entrance to the woods (wooden gate).
(S/E) Head in and turn right past the house; you’ll see the football pitch in front of you. Walk alongside it until you reach the track.
(1) Turn left onto the track and carry on straight ahead until you reach the road; cross it and take the road opposite (slightly to the right) heading towards Batsères. This is a very quiet road.
(2) At the first path branching off to the right (marked by a green-capped signpost), take it and continue through the forest. There’s a slight climb. Stay on this path; in the small clearing, you’ll see a wooden hut. Continue along the path, passing to the right of the hut as you keep climbing straight ahead. Just before this, you’ll see beehives on your right. At the top of this short slope, you’ll come across some vineyards. Follow the path, which turns to limestone. Walk through the middle of the vineyards, following the track. At the end, there’s another wooden hut on the corner of the road.
(3) At the road, turn left, then about twenty metres further on, follow the path that heads into the woods on the right. Carry on through the ferns and pine trees until you reach a pidgeon hunting hut; keep to the path on the right. At the T-junction, turn left. Follow the track to the next T-junction, then turn right. About fifty metres further on, turn right again onto the track. Carry on until you reach the road.
(4) Cross the road to take the track opposite. Please note: machinery has damaged this section, which leads down to the T-junction. Turn right there. Carry on and, when you see a three-way junction in the track ahead, take the sandy track just before it (15m) on the left. At the end, turn right onto the track that joins the road further on, near the large house (on the right). Continue along the road – which has little traffic – until you reach the junction by the pallet company’s buildings.
(5) Carry straight on, leaving the businesses on your left. At the next X-junction, carry straight on again and continue to the ‘Stop’ sign opposite the Town Hall. Turn left and then immediately right onto the small cobbled street between the Town Hall on your right and the church on your left. Walk down to the road and you’ll see the old post office slightly to your right (the postbox is still there). Turn right onto Rue Saint-Martin until you reach the junction with Chemin des Plaques.
(6) Before entering the La Mouliasse neighbourhood, turn right until you reach the T-junction, where you’ll head straight on towards Guillos and Louchats. Carry on; you’ll enter Menon. Follow the road and, just before leaving the village of Landiras, at the sign with a cross through it, turn right into the Ruisseau du Pin housing estate to return to the starting car park (S/E).
