Park near the church. If it’s open, do pop in – it’s a church that was beautifully restored in the 1930s.

/A: Walk past the church then turn right onto Avenue Marcel Ferrer until you reach the junction with the old railway line.
(1) Turn left here and head into the woods.
(2) Cross the River Ciron. Cross the D110 and you’ll come to a fork in the road.
(3) To start your return journey, turn left onto a small dirt track which leads onto the D3.
(4) First turn left then right onto the D8E6 and follow it until you reach the first road on the left.
(5) Turn left twice, pass through the hamlet of Malarade and continue to the D3.
(6) Turn right, cross the bridge over the Ciron and carry on to a roundabout. Keep right to reach the magnificent Château du Pape Clément V.
(7) Turn left, walk past a large car park and head towards the church (S/E).
