Park near the estate.
(S/E) Head downhill, pass the winery and, at the wash house, turn left onto Chemin du Creux, then follow the path down to the track on the right, just before a building.
(1) Take this path and leave the tarmac road. The route is idyllic, pleasant and shaded. Walk alongside a stream, passing cultivated fields and pastures with cows. Stay on the main path, which is slightly sloping, until you reach a fork near a farm building.
(2) Keep left and continue down a gentle slope. Enjoy the view. You’ll arrive at the vineyards of Domaine Trichon, which are organically farmed. Observe all the life that thrives there: bees, dragonflies, birds, earthworms and, of course, ladybirds!
(3) After the copse of trees, note, on the right, the new planting of young Molette vines, which took place on 23 April 2026, followed by Gamay and finally Chardonnay (recognisable by their trellised growth). On the left: the old Molette vines.
Continue along the path which descends slightly. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Isère, the mountains, the Groslée Bridge if you look carefully, Groslée Castle – in short, there’s plenty to see! Down below, you’ll pass the old Pinot Noir vines.
Then continue up a gentle slope, passing a barn on your right and continuing the climb. Stay on the main path and ignore the one branching off to the left. Look back and you’ll spot a lovely little barn in the meadow. Carry on to the next fork.
(4) Take a sharp right-hand bend onto the main path at the edge of the woods. Pass a 90° left-hand bend, then walk alongside a field with cows and arrive at the heart of the organic vineyards of Domaine Trichon. Observe the many insects and animals enjoying the green manure and the comfortable life in the vineyards. Join the route of the Promenade de son Altesse.
(5) The Chardonnay vines are on the left and below, the Gamay, and on the right, the Roussettes du Bugey or Altesse. Take a good look at them and spot a faint reddish tinge even on the shoots. Also note the Château de Groslée watching over the scene !
Continue along the path, which runs flat alongside the vineyards, until you reach a fork.
(6) Turn left. Enjoy the view. Walk past a typical Bugiste hut on your right and reach a road. Head down to the Ruisseau de la Gorge then climb up to the next junction.
(7) Turn left and climb until the slope levels out. Note the old Pinot Noir vines.
(8) Continue along the road until you reach the next junction.
(9) Turn right and, at the end of Chemin des Guigards, keep to the right. At the three-way junction, go right and arrive at the junction at the end of Chemin d’Arandon. Walk a few metres to the left until you reach the first path on the right.
(10) Take this path and continue alongside the vineyards of Domaine Trichon. The path is stone-paved and climbs slightly. Pass through a shaded section and follow the path downhill to the road. Follow the road to the right to quickly reach the hamlet of Le Poulet (S/E).
