Park in the car park of the village hall.
(S/E) From the car park, walk up to the village on the left, along Route de la Taillie and then Montée des Lauzes. Walk through the picturesque village to the top and continue along the road on the left. You will reach the start of Chemin de la Forêt about 600 m after the last houses.
(1) Follow the path on the right, Chemin de la Forêt. (If you are starting the walk here, you can park your car in a recess in the road a few dozen metres further on.)
(2) After passing a small pond and a hut, you will arrive at a large fir tree. Read the information panel about this remarkable tree, which dates back more than a century! The fir tree is on the right-hand side of the path, at a small fork, and you can't miss it.
Continue along the forest path. Cross a stream in its lower section, a tributary of the Gland which forms the Glandieu waterfall a little further down.
(3) Pass by the Conzieu wash house and turn around to take the road that climbs to the right. After a hairpin bend, join theGR®®59trail.
(4) This trail, on the right, climbs towards the summit of Tentanet. Take it on the left and continue along the road, which becomes a path.
(5) Shortly after the tarmac ends, before entering the forest, leave theGR®® and take the path on the right that leads towards the mountain. The bend to the left is muddy, so cut across the woods for about ten metres. Then walk along the Lacs de Conzieu lakes. Stay on the path closest to the lake and, after going around the end of the lakes, you will come to a fork.
(6) Turn left, then quickly right, and rejoin the route you have already taken.
(2) Turn right and follow the same path you took on the way there to reach the road.
(1) Continue left on Montée des Lauzes. In the village, turn left onto Chemin des Puits . You may meet a wood turner and visit his exhibition. He sometimes sells local products as well. Notice a decorated barn that you may not have seen on your first pass. Return to the village hall car park (S/E).
