From the village of Primelin, follow the Porstarz road towards the sea. At the end of the road (sign prohibiting motorhomes), turn right onto a large grassy area.
(S/E) Walk down the field to reach the coastal path.
GR®®34markings (white and red) + coastal path signs
Turn right at the old Porstaz fish pond. Note the sheltered harbour, cove with a small breakwater and slipway on the pebble beach. At the end of the 19th century, it had up to 25 fishing boats. Follow the coastal path heading west. Follow the instructions carefully so as not to get too close to the edge (risk of rockfalls). Pass Pointe de Castel. The coastal path turns north-west to reach the small port of Loc'h, sheltered by a jetty built in 1906. Note the imposing blockhouse.
YellowPR®® markings on signposts
(1) Opposite the lifeboat shelter, turn right onto Chemin du Port, which continues along the beach road and leads to the D784.
(2) Cross it carefully (heavy traffic in summer), take the path opposite and follow it to the road that leads to the village of Kerandraon on the right.
(3) Turn left (dead end sign), cross the hamlet and turn left along a path lined with charcoal trees. The path enters the woods, skirting a small valley. Follow this beautiful shaded path for about 2 km, heading north-west then east. Along the way, you will see a beautiful stone wash house on the left, below the path. Cross a small road and continue straight ahead.
At the bottom of the village of Kerscoulet, continue straight ahead to reach the small Saint-Chrysanthe Chapel, which was built in 1856 around a fountain located inside this small building. A few metres to the left, note an Iron Age stele, a sign of an earlier Celtic cult (presence of a spring).

(4) Retrace your steps and turn left to climb up to the hamlet of Kerscoulet and cross it entirely.
(5) At the top, turn right and then immediately left between numbers 15 bis and 17 onto a path that has been newly redeveloped for horse riders (summer 2017).
Follow this beautiful path (visible on OSM), keeping generally southbound. At the end, go around the wall of a property on the left.
(6) Cross the D784 with caution and take the path opposite, marked by a telephone pole covered in ivy. Continue south, then turn left and then right to reach the first houses in the village.
(7) At the street, turn left (calvary dating from 1939), walk past the old school, which has been converted into a library, and arrive at the war memorial, a monument inspired by pacifism.
(8) Walk past the old presbytery, which has been converted into a hiking lodge, and go around the church on the right, noting an imposing Iron Age stele. Continue along the Porstarz road towards the sea. In the village of Kerhars, look for an old cross with figures partially covered in lichen. Arrive at the grassy car park where you started (S/E).
