PR®® markings: Yellow
Walk eastwards past the chapel, then turn left onto the Rue du Calvaire, which climbs uphill.
(1) About 200m further on, at a bend, you will find the Calvary and the Sainte-Evette Fountain. Continue uphill and, at the top, turn left onto a path.
(2) At the first fork, turn left heading due south onto the Chemin de Leguerriou to reach the hamlet of Keryéoc'h
(3) Continue; on the right is the road to the hamlet of Kerhuon.
(4) Turn right then left to discover the Kerhuon wayside cross, where you leave the yellow markings only to rejoin them in the next village, Créac’h.
(5) After the village, turn right onto a small road which continues as a path that turns right.
(6) At the next junction, continue left over the dune. You’ll reach a road which you follow to the right.
(7) At the crossroads, cut across a road and take the wide path opposite. Walk through the pretty village of Custrein.
(8) On leaving the village, turn right onto the road and head towards the Chapel of Saint-Tugen.
(9) Explore this imposing chapel and its fountain 50 m below. Head back down to the entrance of the hamlet
Unmarked
Head back down and turn right between two houses onto a street that leads into a path, which you follow. Turn right onto the first track and continue (on your left, an old windmill). The path joins a road.
(10) Turn right onto it for a few metres and then turn left onto a path that leads to a small road climbing up to the Chapel of Saint Theodore (dating from 1672).
(11) Head down towards the village of Primelin, turning left as you go round the church. On the right, note the peace-inspired war memorial.
(12) Follow the Route du Paradis, which leads to Pointe du Castel via Kerdugazul and Le Paradis, ending at the sea.
GR® 34: White and Red
(13) At the coastal path, turn left and follow it (GR®®34). Continue towards Porstarz (sea caves, mini-calanques, remains of an old seaweed kiln and its hoist). Reach Trez-Goarem Beach. (Please respect this highly sensitive area managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral).
(14) The easily accessible coastal path continues past Pointe de Pen an Enez, Grève de Pors Bili, Pointe de Beg ar Gravinec, the beaches of Senan and Lenarc’h, and the Lervily semaphore station, now a charming guesthouse.
(15) Pass a small islet known as Île aux Vache and head towards the jetty on the island of Sein.
(16) Pass the water sports centre and return to the car park where you started, near the Sainte-Evette Chapel (S/E).
