An easy route along small country roads and through woodland.

This short walk will take you through the woods around La Réunion.

At the very tip of the Gironde, on the border with Lot-et-Garonne, between the cantons of Auros and Grignols: a hilly, oak-wooded and very quiet area. Well worth a visit... except in October and November during the wood pigeon hunting season.

Circular route through the countryside, alternating between undergrowth and open spaces, with a few short sections on roads.

Hike in southern Gironde, with a succession of typical rural landscapes: old farms with tobacco drying sheds, the Landes de Gascogne forest and old mills. The route follows the yellow or green departmental markings, along quiet country roads and forest paths. Not to be done during the wood pigeon hunting season (early October to 15 November).

The route has been beautifully redeveloped; it is pleasant and tree-lined. An ideal walk for nature lovers.

On either side of the Beuve Valley, the Bazadais region is cut by numerous steep-sided valleys. The woods form a jigsaw puzzle with the cultivated fields and meadows brought to life by herds of cows, horses and sheep. This beautiful walk will take you along the small roads and forest paths of the Bazadais region.

Route through the hills of the Buzet vineyards between Bruch and Montesquieu.

An easy, circular walk of about an hour, perfect for families, around the small village of Savignac-de-Duras, amidst vineyards and plum orchards. You’re likely to spot a few deer along the walk.

A beautiful hike starting from the pretty village of Soumensac. From the car park, you will have a magnificent view of the typical Lot-et-Garonne countryside. You will cross the plain, undergrowth and vineyards. The view of the village of Soumensac from above on the way back is a feast for the eyes.

Near the magnificent Bastide d'Eymet, enjoy a family walk along Lac de l'Escourou, where you can observe the region's flora and fauna. The small lake is equipped for bird watching. Children can answer the short quizzes scattered along the route.

A circular loop starting from Saint-Macaire Church in the commune of Lauzun. Very pretty scenery from the church. The walk takes you along paths through fields, through a hamlet, past pastures and an orchard, and through undergrowth where you will pass close to a pidgeon hunting hut.

In the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers region, you are now in the bastide town of Pellegrue, founded in the 13th century on a rocky outcrop. During your walk, you will pass through woods and hillsides now planted with vines.

Starting from Saint-Pastour, explore the village and go for a walk in the valley below. Beautiful views of the medieval village.

Route on the Fraisse plateau between the Goutère and Saint-Martin streams, starting from Madaillan town hall.

A circular route starting from the church at Saint-Cirq, heading up to the plateau overlooking the Château de Madaillan, then descending into the Bourbon Valley before returning to the heights.

A circular walk around Sainte-Colombe-en-Bruilhois through orchards, market gardens, woods and vineyards, offering sweeping views of Mourrens Church and the Garonne Valley. The route ends at the restored fountain and wash house at Au Rou, followed by a tour of the village around the church with its perfectly maintained cobbled streets.

Starting from the church car park, take the paths through the woods where you’ll spot a few pidgeon hunting huts. Then, up on the hillside, amidst the vineyards, you’ll have an exceptional view of the valley.

Margueron is a small commune where the rural character remains very much alive. Crops and woods dominate the landscape, and vineyards occupy a prominent place here. The woods are ideal places to recharge your batteries, observe the remaining natural environment and escape from everyday life. The proposed route offers varied landscapes with a rural and authentic character. These characteristics can be found in the small church of Margueron, typical of the region with its bell tower.

From the village, the route takes you along country lanes through woodland down to a small river, the Soulège. Along the way, you’ll come across various points of interest: a wash house, a stone bridge, windmills and watermills, and more. The rest of the route alternates between vineyards and woodland, with views of the surrounding villages.

This circular route is accessible to beginner hikers who want to discover the rolling landscapes of Saint-Quentin-de-Caplong. It follows part of theGR®654trail and part of the Voie de Vézelay route to Santiago de Compostela. Along the way, you'll enjoy varied, rolling landscapes dotted with streams and wine châteaux.

Throughout the hike, mills, wine châteaux and churches combine to offer hikers a charming backdrop in a natural and varied setting. Don't miss the Romanesque church of Thoumeyragues, which is said to have been built by the monks of Saint-Émilion. Also worth seeing: the Bouhets dovecote and the Château de la Beauze (early 16th century).

Circular route starting from Loupiac, in the hills of Entre Deux Mers. A mix of rural paths, farm tracks and narrow, quiet tarmac roads with passable verges. Very varied and changing hilly landscapes: vineyards, meadows, copses, little urbanisation. Stable terrain, regular ascents and descents spread throughout the route.

A lovely walk through the Loupiac vineyards, between paths and a few sections of road. The latter are always topped by an embankment for those who don't like tarmac... Located on the right bank of the Garonne, about 40 kilometres south-east of Bordeaux. Moderator update on 30/03/2021: Please note! There are private property issues between (8) and (10). Easy loop starting from Lussolle and passing through the pine forest to the springs of Moncaut.

The town, crossed by the Courbut stream, consists of two plateaus sloping down towards the Dordogne. You can enjoy a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, surrounded by magnificent landscapes of vineyards and forests.

Here is a lovely walk east of Frontenac, along paths, trails and quiet roads. The highlight of the route is the Templar Commandery of Sallebruneau, a site steeped in history. It stands isolated in a serene and restful countryside, conducive to contemplation.

A circular walk from the market hall to the highest point of the village with its church and castle, continuing towards the wooded hills of Moirax.

Walk starting from Doulezon. The village boasts a remarkable medieval church and is crossed by two streams, the Lestage and the Pédayne.

Thanks to this walk starting from Gensac, an ancient stronghold perched on the natural bend formed by the rocky outcrop, you can look out over the valleys of the Durèze, the Soulège and the Dordogne.

You will walk alongside the Soulège, a small 13km stream, and discover the village church, rebuilt in 1866. You can also visit the Moulin de Moustelat, built in 1724 and still in operation. Also worth seeing is the elm tree planted in 1848, symbolising the freedom won after the Revolution, which is in perfect health. It still resists the disease that has struck other trees of its species.

From 26 June to 30 October 2025, cardboard artist Stéphane Munoz is exhibiting eight of his works in the centre of Agen. Here is a walk that allows you to discover this temporary exhibition and some historical curiosities of the city of prunes.

This village and its monastery date back to the Middle Ages. It was probably founded by monks attracted by the presence of a fountain. In this wine-growing commune, you will enjoy a very pleasant walk through rolling countryside.

As you walk along this route, keep your eyes open! Around a bend in the path or beyond a fence, you will discover traces of the past: wells, dovecotes and mills. You may also meet winegrowers who will tell you about their passion and offer you a taste of their wines.

From the moat of Rauzan Castle, this path winds its way through rows of vines stretching as far as the eye can see. Continuing towards Jugazan, the landscape transforms into rolling hills offering magnificent panoramic views of the Engranne Valley.

A circular route in a fairly hilly landscape where you can admire beautiful views, a dolmen, a Romanesque church and enjoy the undergrowth and vineyards. You can also stop at the "Cabane à Lire" (reading hut), where many books are available. Tested again on 07/02/2019, the descent after the (1) is narrow but accessible.

Enjoy the rolling countryside and panoramic views of the Engranne valley as you follow this path. You will then venture through the rows of vines to reach the village of Rauzan and its medieval castle.

A very pleasant circular walk through vineyards, woodland and plains. The walk starts at Rouffignac cemetery but can also start at the magnificent Château de Bridoire (15th and 16th centuries - visits, games for children, etc.). Crossing the Gardonnette ford is a little tricky.

A bucolic, hilly hike with beautiful views. It starts with a steep climb, but once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful view of the Dordogne valley and Castillon-la-Bataille. The route takes you through vineyards, woods and meadows, with little tarmac. It ends with another steep climb, but less steep than the one at the start.

Circular route around the Trotte Lapin leisure centre, with much of the route through woodland and paths winding along the banks of streams.

Starting from the car park at the Trotte Lapin leisure centre, this circular route joins and crosses the village of Moirax, with its 11th-century church, then descends towards the Garonne valley before climbing back up for a very shady route dotted with streams.

This circular starts from the car park in the village of Monmarvès in southern Dordogne. Right from the start, you will discover magnificent landscapes. You will pass through vineyards and discover the hamlet of Pecdorat with its old renovated houses. You will cross a wood and then descend towards the Retenue de la Nette reservoir. You will walk along the lake and then climb back up to the car park, passing by the ruins of an old mill.

A circular route for pedestrians, mountain bikes and Swincars, mainly following marked and maintained paths and a small, quiet road. Much of the route is through wooded areas, which are very pleasant in summer.

The circular loop in Saint-Aubin-de-Branne allows you to stroll through a hilly wine-growing landscape. Viewpoints and heritage features punctuate the route.

The circular red trail in Saint-Aubin-de-Branne offers you the chance to immerse yourself in the heart of a rolling landscape, amidst the vineyards. Throughout this route, you can admire beautiful panoramic views and set off to discover heritage treasures.

The route is slightly hilly and quite varied, taking in a riding centre, castles, vineyards, viewpoints and charming little hamlets.

This route is easy with little elevation gain. It consists mainly of paths, often in wooded areas, with one section on a small, quiet road. In wet weather, it is advisable to wear good shoes. Note: the soil in Issigeac is very clayey and therefore sticks well when conditions are right!

You may also encounter various animals. A significant part of the route is on the Lapébie cycle path (very busy at weekends). Please note that there are pidgeon hunting huts, so avoid the period from 1 October to 20 November.
