Saint-Martin-de-Sallen walks

A very pleasant walk through the undergrowth, with the sound of small streams flowing through this magnificent forest. Lots of mushrooms in season.

From Thury-Harcourt to the Chapel of Saint Joseph. On these paths, you will find uphill and downhill undergrowth, theGR®36and the Chapelle Saint-Joseph.

Hiking in Suisse Normande. With blue skies, you can discover the beautiful valleys. I recommend a visit to the Bonne Nouvelle Chapel, which is open during the day and offers the opportunity to leave messages.

Hike around Mont-Pinçon, the highest point in the Calvados department, best known for its radio and television transmitter. Along the way, you will see traces of the Roman presence and discover that, in August 1944, it was also the site of a fierce tank battle during the liberation of France.

This is a fairly easy hike, mostly on country roads with virtually no traffic. Return via the Clécy viaduct and along the Orne. This hike can be done in the morning, with a stop for lunch at one of the open-air cafés along the Orne.

Ouffières welcomes you to a large square beautifully decorated with flowers. You can then set off to discover magnificent stone houses before following the Orne River as it winds its way through the Swiss Normandy.

A superb walk to discover the Normandy bocage and the Orne valley. This hike takes in "le pain de sucre", "les rochers de la Houle" and "les rochers des parcs".

A walk passing through Lénault, St-Jean-le-Blanc, Marsangle and the Notre-Dame-de-Pitié chapel.

This is a fairly easy hike, with beautiful panoramic views of the Orne and the surrounding countryside throughout. An iconic site in Suisse Normande, the Rochers des Parcs are also a mecca for rock climbing.

Hike around the village of Espins. Come and discover the history of this charming commune through its hamlets and the Moulin du Traspy mill. On the way, don't miss the village of Moncel, built on the side of a valley.

The Fairies of the Baligot Rocks still have their legend, which has never ceased to be popular in Proussy. They lived in the Fairy’s Hole, on the side of a high rocky escarpment that rises at the edge of the Druance, on the road from Condé to Pontécoulant.

If you're passing by on the Greenway, it's well worth a detour.

Circuit starting from La Pommeraie, a small authentic village in Suisse Normande, whose name comes from the word pomme (apple). In autumn, there are many chestnut trees.

This circular route between the Ajon and Odon valleys offers an interesting visit to the Chapelle Saint-Clair and the Moulin d'Ajon.

This hike mainly follows the Coupe-Gorge stream, which runs through the Grimbosq forest. It is a very pleasant walk in autumn as it follows a small path that is rarely used by walkers.

A pleasant hike, starting from Mutrécy, crossing the Caen plain and the Grimbosq Forest in turn. Please note that the final climb may prove difficult for some.

From the banks of the cool Val la Hère stream, you will climb to the heights of Plainville and Bourg d'Ouilly, where the view is remarkable.
