Park at the entrance to Boulevard de la Noé, near the bridge over the Orne.
(S/E) Leave Pont d'Ouilly via the D511 towards Falaise.
(1) At the cross, go up the road on the right, cross the hamlet of La Valette and then the D 511 towards La Goubinière. Note the memorial to the Poles who died in 1944 on the left.
(2) At the Goubinière wash house, descend to the left to the edge of the Hère and cross the stream via the bridge.
(3) Turn left to climb back up to Plainville.
(4) In the hamlet, turn left, take the D167 on the left and then the path on the right.
(5) Turn right again and follow the path for about 500 metres. Continue along the small road to cross the hamlet of Le But.
(6) Cut across the D167 and head straight ahead. Pass a crossroads and continue straight ahead, slightly to the right.
(7) At a bend, keep left towards La Goujardière, then La Canée, and descend towards Val la Hère.
(8) Just before the road, turn right onto the sharp-angled path. It runs alongside the stream and reaches a fork.
(9) Turn left and cross the rustic bridge. The path climbs up to Bourg d'Ouilly.
(10) At the church, turn right, cross the D511 (take care) and continue straight ahead on the right-hand lane. The path passes at the foot of the silo and descends straight down to Pont-d'Ouilly.
At the junction with Rue de Falaise, turn left to return to the starting point (S/E).
