This route has a slight elevation gain with gentle ascents and descents, making it ideal for a Sunday outing with the family. We completed the route in 1 hour and 15 minutes with a group of adults walking at a leisurely pace.

The village of Montclard is dominated by the 11th-century castle, of which the remains of the tower can still be seen. The village of Saint-Georges is home to an 11th-century church and Sainte Rita. The walk takes you through the forest in a hilly area with a few steep slopes requiring a minimum level of fitness.

A very pleasant circular walk through vineyards, woodland and plains. The walk starts at Rouffignac cemetery but can also start at the magnificent Château de Bridoire (15th and 16th centuries - visits, games for children, etc.). Crossing the Gardonnette ford is a little tricky.
