Persan walks

A circular route alternating between tarmac roads, dirt tracks and forest paths, which takes you around the Bois de la Tour du Lay from Champagne-sur-Oise and offers views of the Oise valley. Along the way, you will pass a Neolithic polishing stone. The Bois de la Tour du Lay is classified as a departmental forest and bears the name of an old parish. This area is classified as a natural zone of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest (ZNIEFF).

A 10-kilometre loop to be done on foot starting from Parc Chantemesse in Chambly. There are no major difficulties and the section along the river is very pleasant.

The Carnelle National Forest is a forest located on a hill 25 km north of Paris. Its summit (altitude 210 m) is one of the highest points in the Val d'Oise. The variety of its landscapes makes it one of the most pleasant sites in the region. This hike follows part of the northern flank of the forest, allowing you to discover some interesting features of the forest and its surroundings.

A circular starting from Hédouville takes you through Hodan, Messelan and Frouville.

The circuit starts by taking you along the Sausseron valley, then climbs up the hillside and continues through fields. You return to Nesles via paths through the woods. The circuit also allows you to discover a unique site called the Trou à Morts.

A circular route through five villages in the Vexin Regional Park, partly following the old Valmondois Marines railway line, a secondary line that closed in the 1950s but whose old stations are still visible.

A pleasant hike along the Sausseron, a small stream in Valmondois, past the mills and back via the steam tramway museum and its old railway line.

The route, with sections through the forest and paths across fields and meadows, offers beautiful woodland scenery and sweeping views of the surrounding countryside thanks to the gently rolling terrain.

The Chauvry Valley is a listed site, particularly due to its biological richness. It is bordered by the forest massifs of Isle-Adam to the north and Montmorency to the south and stretches from the Oise valley to the Plaine de France. The hike takes place in rolling agricultural and wooded landscapes and passes through the grounds of the Château de Méry-sur-Oise.

This is a beautiful walk at the entrance to the Oise, in the valleys between Anserville and Fosseuse. The walk takes you through fields and woods. The region is surprising in this area, with its gently sloping hills and succession of small woods and fields. It offers a variety of very pleasant views.

This hike passes through the villages of Auvers-sur-Oise, Valmondois and Butry-sur-Oise, alternating between countryside and the banks of the Oise. All these places have provided numerous subjects for landscape painters, notably Dupré, Daubigny and Pissarro, precursors of the Impressionists. Even today, visitors are struck by the charm of this region in all seasons.
