Start from the car park between Lac Bleu and Petit Étang. To get there by car, take the D85 out of Saint-Martin du-Tertre towards Beaumont-sur-Oise. Pass the no-entry sign after 1 km and take the hairpin bend on the left 500 m further on. At the Carrefour du Pas de la Vache junction, turn left; the car park is 200 m away on the left.
(S/E) Walk around the Petit Étang pond on your right in a clockwise direction, then return to the car park.
(S/E) Then walk along the Lac Bleu on your right and reach the end of it.
(1) Turn left and head towards the Carrefour du Pas de la Vache crossroads. Continue straight ahead on the Route de la Touffe (GR®1).
(2) Turn left onto Route du Merisier, cross Route de Franconville sous Bois, then 200 m further on, turn right to Carrefour Vauréal.
(3) Turn right at an acute angle. Continue for about 250 metres and you will find a path starting on the left. Follow this path and at the next fork, continue left then right along Route des Bruyères. Pass the water tower and continue through Saint-Martin-du-Tertre until you reach the Tour du Guet crossroads.
(4) Cross the D 85 at the pedestrian crossing and descend into the valley for about 1.5 km along the edge of the Bois de Touteville.
(5) Shortly before the end of the woods, turn left then right, and continue to the high-voltage power lines before the Rond de Chantilly.
(6) Turn left twice to join the Route des Princes. After about 300 m, turn right and then right again 150 m further on. Cross the Route de Chantilly and, about 50 m further on, take thesecond path on the left for about 600 m, crossing the Route de l'Orme.
(7) Turn sharply left onto a curved path. Cross several paths, then descend, turning left into the Fonds des Vaux valley.
(8) Head back up to the right, avoiding a path that branches off to the right about a hundred metres further on. Turn left along the edge of the forest, then follow the path on the right and join theGR®1.
(9) Take this path to the left, then the Route de la Touffe to the left and continue to the Carrefour de Carnelle.
(10) Turn slightly left and follow Route du Ringuet. Cross the D 85 carefully, first turn right then left with theGR®1and return to the car park (S/E).
