The hike starts at the car park at Plage de l'Isle-Adam (Val d'Oise), at 1 Avenue du Général de Gaulle.
You can get there by car or train; Parmain station is about 600 metres away.
PR® (yellow) markings
(S/E) Take Rue de la Capitainerie with the beach on your right.
(1) At the bridge, turn right and, just before the next bridge, take the towpath on the right. A little further on, you will pass the lock.
(2). Continue along the banks of the Oise for about 4 km.
(3) At the fork, two hundred metres after passing under the A16 motorway and the D301, leave the banks of the Oise by turning right onto the path that climbs and passes under a bridge. Cross the D922 and continue along the path that curves to the left and runs alongside the village of Mours to the Vieux-Moulin farm, where you turn right.
(4) The path passes through fields, turns left at the edge of a wood, winds through the wood and, at the exit, turns right to arrive at the edge of a stream where you turn right.
(5) Continue for a good kilometre and you will come to a crossroads at the entrance to the Golf de l'Isle-Adam.
(6). Take the road on the left. At Prérolles, in front of a calvary, turn right onto the path that climbs up to the plateau, skirting around the very large golf course. At the crossroads near a few houses and the Presles cemetery.
(7) Go straight ahead, continuing along the golf course.
(8) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead.
(9) At the end of the golf course, at the crossroads at the edge of the woods, turn right and after 200 metres you will arrive at the Pierre Plate covered walkway.
(10) After exploring the site, retrace your steps to the previous crossroads.
(9) Normally, there is a rural path allowing you to cross the field in front of you, but it has recently been ploughed and sown with wheat. If the path is still inaccessible during your hike, we advise you to continue back to the previous crossroads.
(8) Turn right, then right again 200 metres further on to reach the end of the path you would have followed if it had not been cultivated. The distance indicated on this sheet takes this detour into account (approximately 750 metres).
(11) Take the wide agricultural track on the left, which leads to a tarmac road that joins the D64E on the right.
cross the N1 bridge and continue on the D64, which is marked PR®. Watch out for traffic and walk on the grass verge until you reach the N184 bridge.
(13) At the first crossroads after crossing the bridge over the dual carriageway, take the second forest track on the right. Walk along this wide track (Route des Louveteaux) for about 2 km, ignoring several paths on the right and left.
(14) When you reach a riding centre, take the path that descends to your right.
This path winds its way to Rue Saint-Martin. At the roundabout, go straight ahead into Rue Pierre Morard, which bends sharply to the left. At the T-junction, turn right into Rue de Nogent, which leads to Avenue Michel Poniatowski (D922) where the Pavillon Chinois is located.
(15). Turn right and continue to the large roundabout.
No signposts
(6) Cross the roundabout on the left to take Avenue des Carrières de Cassan, continue until you reach Rue de la Porte du Bois, which crosses it diagonally on the left, and take it. Cross the crossroads and follow the street along the waterfront. At the bend, continue straight ahead along the path that separates two ponds. At the end, turn left and then, 200 metres further on, turn left again to go around the pond. When you reach the road (Avenue du Chemin Vert), turn left and continue until you reach a crossroads with traffic lights.
(17) Cross the street to the right and take the path opposite that leads to the school. Turn right into the landscaped alleyway that takes you to the park entrance on Rue Abbé Breuil. Cross the park and head to the car park on the other side (S/E).
