Parking at the Carrefour du Pavillon de Paris, along the D64.
(S/E) Cross the D64 carefully and turn right onto the cycle path that runs parallel to it.
(1) Take the first left, Route du Lary (yellow PR® sign). At the crossroads shortly after, go straight ahead (south-west). At the next crossroads, turn right onto Route du Hangar. Continue until you reach Grille des Bons Hommes.
(2) Then turn left, cross a small road and continue along the PR®. Ignore a path on the left. Cross the Route Capitaine and continue straight ahead. At the next junction, continue straight ahead and you will immediately come to a T-junction.
(3) Keep left on Route du Vollar and go straight ahead, ignoring a path on the left.
(4) At the next junction, take the second path on the left, heading south-southwest. Continue straight ahead.
(5) At the end of the road, follow a wide path on the right for about 100 metres. Take the first path downhill on the left and continue for another 100 metres.
(6) Then turn left into the Stors Nature Reserve (wooden fence and sign) and take the footpath and cycle path ahead. Follow this hilly path along the hillside, heading east-southeast.
(7) Pass in front of some old quarries. At the next crossroads, go straight ahead to reach two caves. Continue along the uphill path. A little further on, rejoin the GR®1 and follow it until you reach a T-junction.
(8) Turn right and you will quickly reach the Porte Noire crossroads.
(9) Takethe second path on the left (PR® signpost). Soon head south, walk for a long time, and ignore the paths on the left and right.
(10) At the end of the path, turn left at an acute angle and follow the GR®1 access route. Continue straight ahead (north-east) and ignore the paths on the right.
(11) At the end of the path, turn left. At the intersection that appears shortly after, continue straight ahead (leaving the GR®1 trail on your left).
(12) At the crossroads, cross the GR®1 and continue straight ahead (north). Pass the Lorentz crossroads and continue straight ahead until you reach the Rond de l'Isle-Adam (picnic area).
(13) Then take the second path on the right, heading east. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead for about 200 m.
(14) At the intersection, take a sharp left onto Route des Pavillons (PR® signposting). At the first intersection, turn right onto Route Boby.
(15) At the end, cross the D64 with caution. On the other side, take the path that branches off to the left. Pass the first intersection and continue to Carrefour Rich.
(16) Take the second path on the left. Continue straight ahead (north-west) and ignore the paths branching off to the sides.
(17) At the crossroads, follow the Route forestière du Lary to the right, heading north, and pass some caves. Then, leave two paths on your left.
(18) At the next intersection, turn left.
(19) You will come out onto Petite Route du Lary. Follow it to the left, heading south. Pass three paths on your left. Cross a PR® trail and continue straight ahead until you reach the D64.
(1) Follow this road to the left, taking the cycle path that runs parallel to it. This will take you to the Carrefour du Pavillon de Paris and the car park where you started (S/E).
