This hike winds its way near the Château de Montaigne, located in the commune of Saint-Michel-de-Montaigne. It is a 14th-century fortified house that was the family home of the Renaissance philosopher and thinker Michel de Montaigne. The vineyard is part of the Bergerac appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC).

Walk starting from Doulezon. The village boasts a remarkable medieval church and is crossed by two streams, the Lestage and the Pédayne.

A bucolic, hilly hike with beautiful views. It starts with a steep climb, but once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful view of the Dordogne valley and Castillon-la-Bataille. The route takes you through vineyards, woods and meadows, with little tarmac. It ends with another steep climb, but less steep than the one at the start.

The town, crossed by the Courbut stream, consists of two plateaus sloping down towards the Dordogne. You can enjoy a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, surrounded by magnificent landscapes of vineyards and forests.

A stone’s throw from Saint-Emilion, a hilly and varied route: the windmills of Calon, scenic viewpoints, woodland and a magnificent château.

This slightly hilly route takes you past the beautifully restored Moulins de Calon mills. You will cross vineyards and admire numerous châteaux and several Romanesque churches... The difference between this route and the Des Moulins au Château des Tours route is that there is less undergrowth and more castles and viewpoints, as well as the Church of Saint-Georges.
