Description of the route

The departure point is on the quays of Castillon-la-Bataille, at the end of Rue de la Porte de Fer.

(S/E) Follow the Dordogne and the quays and pass under the bridge. When you reach the iron bridge (Pont Tranchard), turn right onto theD2198E1 and continue to the first crossroads.

(1) Turn left onto the D123 towards Sainte-Terre. At the stadium, turn left onto Rue de Mancy and follow the road to a crossroads at La Grave.

(2) Turn left into the cul-de-sac, Rue des Pêcheurs. Follow this road to the village of Sainte-Terre. Continue straight ahead until you reach the church.

(3) Turn right just after the church onto theD936E7, Rue Saint-Alexis. Continue straight ahead until you reach a four-way intersection. Go straight ahead and you will reach a Y-junction.

(4) Turn left onto Chemin de Taupié, then quickly left onto Chemin de Guillemin, pass the hamlet of Guillemin and continue straight ahead to the end of the road at Barreyre.

(5) Turn right at the next intersection and continue to Route de Darthus (D670).

(6) Turn right at the give way sign, then immediately left onto Rue des Acacias. At the end of this road, turn left onto Chemin de la Calle along the banks of the Dordogne.

(7) Turn right onto Chemin de la Cale and follow it until you reach the D936.

(8) Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead on Route Labrie until you reach Route de la Rouchonne.

(9) Turn left at the three-way junction at the cross, turn right and then left at the next junction and continue to the end of Rue du Chêne.

(10) Turn left (Route du Barail du Blanc), then keep right until you reach a Y-junction.

(11) At the Y-junction, turn left onto Route du Petit Jean and continue straight ahead. At the three-way junction with a grassy island, keep right to reach the Mouille-Cul crossroads.

(12) Keep left on Route de Trapeau, then right at the three-way junction that follows and join a four-way intersection.

(13) At the stop sign, turn left (D122), then turn right onto the D936 towards Branne and cross the bridge over the Dordogne.

(14) At the end of the bridge, turn immediately left onto Route de Cabara, towards the Tourist Office and Cabara. Follow the D18 with caution until you reach the junction towards Cabara.

(15) Turn left onto theD18E5 and continue straight ahead to reach the village. Cross the village, keeping straight ahead, then follow the Dordogne River until you reach the D18.

(16) At the stop sign, turn left towards Saint-Jean-de-Blaignac. Keep the D119 on your right and continue to the next intersection.

(17) Turn right onto the D670 towards Pujols and Sauveterre-de-Guyenne, then left onto the D119 towards Civrac-sur-Dordogne and the town hall. Drive through Saint-Jean-de-Blaignac, staying on the road at the stop sign. Continue along the Dordogne River until you reach Civrac-sur-Dordogne.

(18) At the stop sign, go straight ahead to reach the village of Civrac-sur-Dordogne. Cross the village and continue on the D119 along the Dordogne River. You will arrive at the intersection with theD119E2.

(19) Go straight ahead and join the D15.

(20) Cross it to go straight ahead. Then keep right and cross the departmental road.

(21) Continue to follow the left bank of the Dordogne. Cross three streams, including the Ruisseau de Lestage, by going over the small bridge. Continue on the D130 to reach Micouleau.

(22) Continue straight ahead until you reach Flaujagues.

(23) Turn left to discover the flower-lined quays of Flaujagues and pass in front of the church, taking the first left. Facing the departmental road, turn left towards Pessac-sur-Dordogne and you will come to a hill.

(24) Go up the hill and keep following the D130, staying on the left at the top, then continue straight ahead at Perrinchon to reach Canton de la Roque.

(25) Turn left and then descend the Côte de la Tourbeille: take care on the bends. At the end, you will reach the D16.

(26) Turn left at the stop sign and arrive at Pessac-sur-Dordogne. Drive through the village and cross the bridge to reach a fork in the road.

(27) Then turn left towards Prats on the C203. Follow this road through vineyards, hamlets and apple orchards.

(28) At the Y junction, turn left. After a right-hand bend, then another left, cross the Castin and turn right until you reach the road.

(29) Turn left, then left again onto Route de l'Étang and follow it to the right until you reach the children's playground.

(30) Just after this area, turn left onto Rue du Lavoir. At the end of this street, turn right towards the Saint-Paixent Church in Lamothe-Montravel. After passing the church and going around the market hall, turn left onto Rue de la Carreyre and follow it until you reach the D936.

(31) Turn left carefully onto the D936, then at the zebra crossing, turn left again towards the Talbot monument. Continue along this road, still following the Dordogne, until you return to your starting point (S/E).
