Maisdon-sur-Sèvre walks
Circular Maisdon-sur-Sévre to Aigrefeuille
The section that follows the Maine valley is absolutely superb. The rest of the route consists of a few small roads, mostly paths, vineyards and woods.
Practical information: two variants are available, which, when combined, reduce the route from 21 km to approximately 16.5 km.

Between Sèvre Nantaise, vineyards and mills
This hike starts on the north bank of the Sèvre Nantaise but mainly takes place on the south bank. It offers both beautiful views along the river and panoramic views over the vineyards. It is accessible all year round in principle, but in wet weather, some sections may be muddy.
Between Saint-Fiacre and Château-Thébaud
This loop mainly takes place in the vineyards between Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine and Château-Thébaud, south of Nantes. It offers some lovely views, particularly at the Belvédère de Château-Thébaud, which overlooks the Maine. The circuit follows farm tracks through the vineyards (some of which may be private). The landscape changes with the seasons and the different colours of the vineyards.
Circular between La Haye-Fouassière and Le Pallet
This hike starts at the port of La Haye-Fouassière and follows a circular route along the south bank of the Sèvre Nantaise to Monnières (on the Way of St James), with an optional detour to the reservoir on the Sèvre at Le Pallet (approximately 15 km without this option).
It offers commanding views over the Sèvre and its surroundings and often winds its way through vineyards.
Circuit along the banks of the Sèvre Nantaise and vineyards from Le Pallet
This walk takes you along the Sèvre Nantaise, passing through a small port and winding its way through the Muscadet vineyards, while you admire the small, typical, historic villages of the Nantes vineyards.
The Sèvre, its hillsides and mills between Vertou and La Haye-Fouassière
This hike takes place mainly on paths. Going from village to village, it offers a beautiful variety of landscapes: there are both wide-open views of the vineyards and the Sèvre Nantaise valley, and wooded passages, particularly along the banks of the Sèvre.
It can be enjoyed in any season, with the colours and light offering ever-changing pleasures!

From the Sèvre Nantaise to the Moine
Between the tame and tranquil Sèvre Nantaise and the wild and secretive Moine, this life-size trail is sure to appeal to many hikers. Footbridges over the rivers make it easier to get around and allow you to better enjoy the steep-sided valleys.
Please note: due to the Hellfest festival in Clisson, the Sèvre Nantaise to Moine route is not accessible during the second half of June (dates to be checked each year).

Through the woods and vineyards south of Vertou
A family hike that crosses villages, forests, woods and vineyards south of Vertou. A circular route starting from the École de l'Enclos, which largely follows the Portillon route.
Le Loroux-Bottereau between Pont de Louen and the village
Starting at Pont de Louen on the banks of the Goulaine (and its marsh in winter), this route immediately climbs to the Butte de la Roche to overlook the area, with a panoramic view as far as Nantes. It then winds its way between vineyards and charming hamlets, with other panoramic views such as at the Moulin du Pé. Crossing the village of Loroux-Bottereau, it then makes a circular route back to the hill and the starting point.
L'Annerie (Ânerie) and the Moulin Rousselin
A beautiful hike with a few very small roads in the first third of the route, then only paths, particularly along the banks of the Sèvre. It is part of a series of loops that allow you to explore the banks of the Sèvre.
The Couëts circular in Pont-Rousseau
The banks of the Loire River by the former islands of Haute-île, Trentemoult, etc. The rear of Les Couëts, the Moulin du Petit Rocher, the crossing of Les Couëts along the tramway. Finally, the Jaguère Valley and the former bed of the Seil River.
