The starting point is at Port de la Ramée in the commune of Vertou. To get there from Vertou, take the D59 towards Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine, then turn left onto the C203 "Sèvre Nantaise, La Ramée" and continue straight ahead (Impasse du Port de la Ramée).
(S/E) From the car park, set off with the Sèvre on your right, walk along the quarry and then go up the road on the left.
(1) After the small wood, turn right onto the path that runs alongside the vineyards. Follow this path to the left and then to the right, leaving the Moulin de la Faubretière on your left.
Go past the mill and turn left for 100 metres, then turn right and continue along the path until you reach the road.
(2) Take the road on the left, cross the road (D359) and continue to the crossroads. Then take the path that runs diagonally to the right of the house and pass in front of the Moulin des Landes (lodge). Join the road.
(3) Turn right and continue for 60 metres, then turn left onto the path through the vineyards. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead, slightly to the left, and rejoin the road at a place called La Caillaudière. Take the road on the left for 50 metres.
(4) Turn right onto the path between two houses. Follow this path to the first houses, then turn right onto the path between the houses. Follow the road to the left, then left again onto Chemin de l'Orme. Continue to the village of La Cornillère and go to the road.
(5) Take Rue du Calvaire on the right for 100 metres, then turn right onto Chemin de l'Étang. At the end of the pond, follow the path on the left. After about 300 metres, turn left, then right to reach the village of La Denillière. Follow the road on the left to the crossroads.
(6) Turn right onto Rue de la Denillère and continue along the path opposite. When you reach the road, turn right until you reach the junction with Route de la Massonnière.
(7) Take the road opposite, slightly to the left, to reach Pas Baril. In the hamlet, pass two streets on the right and turn left onto Impasse du Rôt.
(8) Then turn left onto the path marked "Circuit de la Chaussée des Moines". Follow this path, crossing two roads. 300 metres after the second road, turn left onto Rue de la Cassardière.
(9) After the first houses, turn right onto Chemin du Chiron. 50 metres further on, turn left, cross the road (D59) and continue straight ahead.
(10) At the cross, take the road on the left, pass the orchards and follow the path on the right to reach the Sèvre.
(11) Turn left, walk along the Sèvre ((12) confluence of the Maine), to the Pont de la Ramée and cross the road to return to the starting point, continuing to follow the Sèvre (S/E).
