Access: To get to the starting point, from the Nantes-Cholet road, you will arrive at Le Pallet via the D149, coming from La Haie-Fouassière, or the D116, coming from Vallet. Near the church on the D149, follow the signs for the Sèvre (towards Pé de Vignard). Continue to the Sèvre, where you can park: this is the starting point.
(S/E) Head west past the old watermill and its dam to the Monnières bridge.
(1) Cross the Sèvre, keeping to the left, and immediately turn left to follow the hiking trail (GRP® Sèvre et Maine) which runs along the other bank of the river. Pass through the hamlet of Les Loges to climb back up the hillside.
(2) At the Calvary, continue to follow theGRP®, which leaves the road and heads left between the vineyards. After about 800 metres, leave the hiking trail that branches off to the left, turn right and head towards the village of Monnières.
(3) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead, passing the École des 3 Moulins school and the town hall, and join the main road (D7), Rue des Forges. Take this road to the left for about 200 metres, then turn right into Rue du Raffou towards Maisdonnière. Follow the road to the third three-way junction (fork).
(4) Continue right towards La Cordouère. Go around the bend to the right and reach the top of the small slope. Take the hairpin bend on the small road to the left and continue through the vineyards. At the first crossroads, turn right towards the Moulin de la Justice, which overlooks the area.
(5) When you reach the mill, go around it via the path to the north, turn right and cross the D76 to reach Moulin de la Bidière.
(6) Pass in front of it, continue through the vineyards, then follow the path down into the woods until you reach the road below and take it to the right for 300 metres.
(7) Turn right onto the signposted path to reach the Sèvre at the "Grotte de Lourdes" in La Roche Corbinière, carved in 1956 to house a statue of the Virgin Mary and a small altar.
(8) Continue along the Sèvre towards the football pitches. Continue parallel to the Sèvre and cross the road at Les Yolais. After the small wood, continue along the path through the vineyard and turn left at the end of the field onto the path that borders the gardens and joins the Sèvre.
(9) Go under the bridge and return to the starting point by taking the same path as on the way there along the Sèvre (S/E).
