Ropenard Valley Route in Loutehel
A very pretty route, particularly in the two valleys where you really feel as though you’re in Brocéliande , with its steep-sided valleys, rocks and streams that guide you for much of your walk. Signposts along the route explain the history of the village.
The Fief de Thélin Route
A typical route in the Brocéliande region with rolling moorland landscapes and narrow paths disappearing into the woods and climbing rocky outcrops. Lovely views over the Forest of Paimpont and the moors of Coëtquidan.
Bois de Cent Jours and moorland to the north-west of Bovel
Walk in the Bois de Cent Jours (the time it took to clear 30 hectares) and on the moorland north of Bovel.
With a little care and silence, you may spot roe deer (I’ve done this walk twice on my own and once in a group of twelve); on each occasion I managed to spot some (admittedly at varying distances!).
Lancelot's walk in Beignon
This route will allow you to discover the village of Beignon, but also to immerse yourself in the legends of Lancelot and Guinevere. During the walk, discover the Affolettes Garden and the Slippery Rock site, then enjoy nature along the Aff Valley.

Val Sans Retour circular walk from Paimpont
A cycle ride taking you to see the Val Sans Retour and the Church of the Grail in the village of Tréhorenteuc, passing by the Chêne à Guillotin, the Barenton Fountain, the Round Table of the New Knights and the Jardin au Moine burial mound.

A circular walk in the heart of unspoilt countryside. The route is ideal for a family outing or a walk with friends, with no difficulty involved. The route passes close to a cave at the start and offers a beautiful view of Brocéliande Castle at the Pas du Houx Pond halfway along the route.
Heathland, ponds and megaliths in Monteneuf
Come and discover a remarkable megalithic site in the Landes de Monteneuf: a collection of standing stones, covered walkways and isolated menhirs. Although less spectacular than Carnac, it is nonetheless very interesting due to the presence of a site currently undergoing renovation, where regional archaeologists have recreated both the dwellings of the period and the methods used to raise the stones.
Monteneuf megalithic circular loop
Set off to explore the dry and wet moors, home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. You will then come across several Neolithic burial monuments (La Loge Morinais, the Bordouès Covered Walkway). A little further on is the Pierres Droites megalithic site, one of the most important archaeological sites in central Brittany. It has 420 menhirs, around forty of which have been re-erected in their original location.
Canut Valley discovery route
Short family walk along the discovery trail in the protected natural site of the Canut Valley.The route is mostly shaded and features educational panels on the local flora and fauna.On the trail, you will pass by the old Ritoir mill, which has been converted into the Maison des Énergies.
Circular Rosaies starting from Augan
Discover Augan and its surroundings! Nestled between forests and farmland, this route will allow you to discover part of the town’s rich heritage: chapels, mills, wash houses, as well as a Neolithic burial monument, the Coudraie covered walkway.
The balconies of Monterfil
Monterfil is located between Rennes and Plélan-le-Grand, close to the Paimpont forest and the Brocéliande site. Here, visitors will get a taste of the moorland and schist landscapes. They will also have the opportunity to cross deep, steep-sided valleys where small streams flow peacefully.
Countryside and Canut valley via the Streams and Landes routes
A route allowing you to see the countryside and woods around Lassy, then reach the Canut valley and the moorland.
Best done clockwise to finish with the moorland and the view of the Canut valley.
Please note: the Canut crossing between (9) and (10) can be difficult after heavy rain.
There are a few road crossings, but visibility is fairly good to very good, making it easy to cross, but caution is advised.

Departure from Tréhorenteuc towards Paimont (digiding don don).Return journey via the north.Pass by the wonders of the forest.
Brocéliande: a legendary forest
For the potential believer, this is the forest where a magician (Merlin the Enchanter) and a fairy (Viviane the Fairy) met. For the same walker, it's also where Arthur's Knights met at the Round Table. Finally, will the walker see the fairies who took to the water? before meeting the fairy Morgane, who locks up all knights unfaithful to their oath of love in an impenetrable prison of air (the Val sans Retour). A vast program.
From Tréhorenteuc to Trécesson via the Val sans Retour
From Tréhorenteuc to Trécesson, this route explores the southern part of the Forest of Paimpont and, first and foremost, the Val sans Retour. These are places steeped in Arthurian legend and provide a magnificent setting for a walk that is largely through forest.
Please note that during the hunting season, certain parts of the route may be closed to walkers.
Chambre au Loup circuit
The first part of this hike takes you into deep woods. Then you will discover the archaeological site of the medieval castle of Boutavent. Continue this hike through open areas with beautiful panoramic views and steep ascents and descents to reach the Étang de la Chambre au Loup.The return journey takes you back up a steep, open and rocky climb with breathtaking views.

Walk between two ponds in Brocéliande in Iffendic
The legendary Brocéliande is undoubtedly the most popular of all, but the natural Brocéliande is just as omnipresent.
It is the latter that you will discover on this hike, with Lake Trémelin, the Bois de la Roche Trébulente and Putenoë woods, and above all the Careil bird sanctuary... don't forget your binoculars!
From La Chambre au Loup to Boutavent Castle in Brocéliande
From Lake Trémelin: start with Les Landiers de Trémelin, then cross the Chambre au Loup valley with its woods and moors, followed by a visit to the ruins of Boutavent Castle, owned by the Lords of Gaël-Montfort in the 13th and 14th centuries, and return via the Putenoë woods to finish along the lake.

Étang du Val and megaliths in Saint-Just
Walk along the Étang du Val, then along the river, under the cover of the forest, then climb up to the plateau in the moorland to explore the varied megaliths of this exceptional site. There are many paths on the site, offering numerous possible variations.
From La Gacilly to the Chapel of Saint-Jugon via the Black Forest
Starting from the marina, we begin by following the banks of the Aff, a charming little Breton river. Then, crossing the Forêt Neuve, we cross the Ruisseau des Brelles to enter the Forêt Noire. At the end of the path, we can stop for refreshments in the shade of the Chapelle Saint-Jugon.
The return journey is just as peaceful, taking the sunken lanes and ending up in the streets where the craftspeople's stalls are well worth stopping at.
Tour of the Étang du Val
Walk around the Étang du Val, crossing the Lande de Cojoux and then skirting the Château du Val.
Joëlette route in Montfort-Sur-Meu

The Oust Valley towards Malestroit: between towpath and greenway
The Oust Valley is designated a “Grand Site National”, and cycling through it is a great way to explore it.
The Malestroit region offers several ways to explore it, whether by following the Nantes-Brest Canal along the towpath, or by crossing the countryside along the Voie Verte, a cycle path built on the former Questembert-Mauron railway line.
Land and river around Port-de-Roche
The route allows you to discover the countryside between Langon, Beslé and Brain-sur-Vilaine, passing through pretty little typical villages, crossing woods and forests and ending on the towpath along the Vilaine, for more than 9 km. Most of the trail is on beautiful stone paths. The Vilaine is very popular in these areas. You will see pleasure boats and fishermen in their boats. Don't miss the egrets and grey herons on the banks of the Vilaine.
