A pleasant walk. We probably missed something at the start when we reached the wash house. The sign pointing left indicated that we shouldn’t go that way, and after trying to make sense of the route description and hesitating for a long time, we followed it anyway… and we were glad we did. There were no further problems, apart from place names that didn’t always match the actual terrain (the German camp, for example). Indeed, at this time of year, numerous orchids line the limestone paths and the nature reserve. But we were a little disappointed by the latter, which was almost impenetrable (tall, dense grass and a warning from a local council officer at the start about the presence of vipers throughout the walk). We didn’t encounter any, however.

Thank you for this lovely route.
The Fravaux wash house is well worth a look. In spring, the dry meadows must be full of orchids...
According to a resident of Fravaux, the German camp was a radar base.
