(S/E) From Place des Tilleuls on Grande Rue, head towards Arsonval, cross the D936 road at the pedestrian crossing and take the first road on the right, Rue de la Mairie towards Le Chanet.
(1) After the town hall, turn right onto Rue du Moulin and walk past the church. Then walk past the wash house and the mill and continue straight ahead. At the end, turn right and cross the bridge over the Aube.
(2) At the three-way junction, turn left towards Dolancourt. Pass in front of the cemetery.
(3) Cross a small road and follow the path opposite that passes under the railway line. Go straight up through the forest and countryside. Join the D146 and follow it to the left for about 300 metres.
(4) Then turn left onto a path marked in red and yellow (GRP® des deux Bars). Cross a small valley and pass under a high-voltage power line. Reach the D619 and follow it to the left on the side road for about 400 m.
(5) Cross the road (caution: watch out for traffic) and follow the D44a towards Dolancourt (view of the valley with vineyards and the Ferris wheel at Nigloland park). At the stop sign at the entrance to the village, turn left towards the village centre. Cross the village and leave the church on your right.
(6) After the bridge, turn right and pass in front of the wash house. After leaving the village, turn right towards the Nigloland deliveries. Immediately take the first path on the left that goes up into the forest.
(7) At the top, turn right to continue climbing. Follow the path along the edge of the fields and woods. Turn left with the path, enter the Bois des Vaucels and arrive at a crossroads.
(8) Then take the first path on the left. Stay on the main marked path and ignore all the side paths.
(9) When you leave the woods, turn left and continue along the edge. When the path turns sharply to the left, continue straight ahead between the fields.
(10) At the Gagnage farm, turn left (leaving theGRP®). After passing between the fields, descend along a forest path. Cross the D113 and continue downhill into the woods.
(11) At the bottom, follow the D46 to the left. At the stop sign, turn right towards Arsonval and cross the village of Jaucourt via the Grande Rue. Cross the railway line (take care). Further on, cross the Aube river.
(12) At the entrance to Arsonval, turn left onto Rue Tantane. At the fork, turn left onto Rue Fontaine aux Foulons, which becomes a pretty path lined with low walls.
(13) At the end, cross the D619 (mind the traffic) and follow it to the left. Then take the lane parallel to the road. At a cross, leave the road and you will come to a crossroads.
(14) Take thesecond track on the right, a white path that climbs alongside the vineyards. At the end of the vineyards, continue straight ahead and uphill into a wood.
(15) At the top of the hill, turn left. At a fork, turn right and leave the woods. Walk westwards across the fields and then enter the woods again. At the end of the woods, you will come to a path; follow it to the left.
(16) Just before the farm, take the path on the right. At the end, turn left.
(17) At the next intersection, turn right (you can also continue straight ahead to return to the starting point in about 200 metres). Cross a road and continue along a path. Walk up the Bassinvau valley. On the plateau, continue uphill through the fields. Turn left (cave) and you will come to a T-junction.
(18) Then turn left. Continue straight ahead (south-west) on a wide path. Descend, ignoring the paths on the right, and return to the D936. Follow the road to the left to the starting car park (S/E).
