Les Pilles walks

A rugged hike offering magnificent views from a rocky outcrop.

A relatively easy mountain bike ride, although a little technical on the descent to Combe Sauve. There is little traffic on the paved sections. You will ride through broom and goats, if they are out, and can stop at Col Flachet to enjoy the view, as it will be too late afterwards, as the descent is through oak trees.

This loop of around 27 km, with no major difficulties and regular climbs, allows you to discover the Nyons region and its most famous peak, Garde Grosse. The paved roads are quiet, except for cyclists. In spring, there are a few streams where you can cool off.

A half-day's walk to tire yourself out a little, circular from Nyons, surrounded by olive trees, with lovely aerial views. The route winds through the forest and then follows the River Eygues.

A short hike that can be completed in half a day, with views of the Lance and Ventoux mountains and the Baronnies.

A very beautiful hike starting from Nyons. The route follows mostly marked trails (GR®9and yellowPR® markings) through oak and boxwood undergrowth. The scent of thyme often accompanies us. A beautiful hike with a sustained climb to the summit. A lovely 360° panorama rewards your efforts, not to mention the views along the hike (Lance, Miélandre, Angèle, Montagne d'Autuche, Ventoux, etc.). Vultures are part of the spectacle. The route alternates between trails and tracks, with a short section of tarmac. Much of the route is in the shade.

A walk that takes us over small mountains through pine trees, oak trees, vineyards and lavender fields. A condensed version of the Drôme Provençale starting from the medieval fortified village of Venterol with its characteristic wrought iron bell tower. A hike to be enjoyed in spring, autumn and winter, but not recommended in summer due to the heat.

A lovely, pleasant walk in the Baronnies under the holm oaks, with magnificent views of Mont Ventoux and the surrounding peaks. The Saint-Jean d'Ollon Chapel is well worth a visit.

From its promontory, the Cougoir offers a pleasant 360° view of the surrounding mountains. The route via the Col de Venterol and the Pas de la Pousterle allows you to climb the Cougoir via the southern ridge. The return journey, via the small wild path along the ridge of the Sauveginoux mountain, takes you through the mountain pastures of the Croix mountain.

From its promontory, the Cougoir offers a pleasant 360° view of the surrounding mountains. You can admire the mountain pastures of La Croix, the mountains of La Lance, Miélandre, Angèle, Les Trois Becs and Mont Ventoux.

This wild route allows you to discover the Miélandre mountain via a climb on the south side. From the summit, you can admire the Angèle mountain pastures, the Montagne de La Croix, the Lance mountains, the Trois Becs, Couspeau and Mont Ventoux. Chamois can also be seen if you know how to remain discreet.

Hike starting from the village of Beauvoisin, in the heart of Drôme Provençale, nestled in its magnificent mountain setting. The Baume Noire massif, the Linceuil and Taillade mountains, the Ventoux and the Baronnies will be your landmarks throughout your walk. You will cross no fewer than six passes to return to Beauvoisin. The breathtaking views over the long Costes ridge are sure to stay with you.

A hike over hill and dale that will allow you to discover the natural treasures of the Drôme Provençale. Sometimes on the ridges, sometimes in the forests, you will discover magnificent nature. To be done in all seasons! You will pass no less than six passes with breathtaking views, sometimes as far as the Mediterranean, and opposite the Dévoluy.

A hike between Montagne du Linceuil and Montagne de la Taillade. First through fruit trees, cherry and apricot trees and a few vineyards, you will leave this landscape behind to climb a more arid and stony path. From the Col de la Posterle, you will walk along a ridge where you can see the world around you for 300 km. In clear weather, those in the know will be able to recognise the Pic Saint-Loup. The Ventoux will be your constant point of reference.

From the hamlet of Novézan in the commune of Venterol, a circular at the western end of the Baronnies Provençales Regional Park. Nestled between the mountains, almost entirely sheltered from the Mistral wind, this route offers a beautiful hike with varied landscapes: vineyards, pine and oak woods, mountains and rocky faults, lavender and olive groves, not to mention La Sauve and its water holes where you can cool off. The use of the app's GPS is recommended on this route.

There is a climb of nearly 900 metres to reach the summit of La Lance. This hike can sometimes be quite strenuous.

A lovely walk through the undergrowth and apricot and almond orchards, with beautiful views of the Ollon valley and Mont Ventoux.

In the mountains of the Baronnies, imagine a lost hamlet inhabited by giants... Skeletons with very long shins were found in the crypt of the chapel. They are the source of the name of the locality.

From the Col d'Ey, hike through the Ennuye valley, which offers beautiful views of the village of Sainte-Jalle, and return via the Montlaud hillside.

This is a beautiful hike that follows the ridges of Serre de Créma and then Serre la Tête, passing by the highest point of Rocher de la Bataille. This route offers breathtaking views that change as you walk between the Miélandre and Angèle mountains.
