Pass the houses in Saint-Rimbert and park on the right-hand side of the road, in a space large enough for several vehicles.
(S/E) Head back towards Saint-Rimbert and turn left to go round the houses.
(1) At the junction, turn left again to follow the Chemin du Rocher de l'Aiguille. Continue along the path past Les Hauts Guards until you reach a three-way junction.
(2) Keep to the right, ignoring the path on the left leading to the Rocher de l'Aiguille, which you will take on the way back.
(3) Once at Les Blaches, head straight on and begin the climb.
(4) Keep left and reach the Plateau des Cailles. Continue climbing until the next junction.
(5) Turn left towards the Ravin de Saint-Jaume to walk along the upper edge of the ravine.
(6) Keep left at this junction, walk on for a few dozen metres, then turn left again to continue following the ravine. Further on, ignore two paths branching off to the right and reach the Rocher de l'Aiguille.
(7) Continue on to rejoin the path taken on the way out.
(2) Keep right and retrace your steps along the route you took on the way there to return to the car park (S/E).
