Reach the village of Villeperdrix via the D570. Upon arrival, you will immediately find parking spaces below a small square on the left.
(S/E) Continue along the street that climbs up from the arrival point. On the descent, take the ramp on the left. This fork is marked by red and yellowGRP® signage. Follow the pretty path that winds its way through olive groves and hedges to reach the ford of the Ruisseau du Pibou, which is likely to dry up quickly when the weather gets hot.
(1) From there, the climb is fairly steady until you reach the Col de Chaudebonne. The markings will be red-yellow and yellow until you reach the pass.
(2) Turn left, heading south. The path is wide and then becomes quite steep until you reach the ridge.
(3) Continue along the yellow trail, along the ridge to the Col de Maruen.
(4) Turn left towards Villeperdrix - 4 km 8 - 1 hr 30 min and through the Coucou State Forest. Join the Chemin des Nayses, which is a small tarmac road.
(5) Leave it immediately by turning left a few metres further on and make the final descent towards Villeperdrix.
(6) At the end of the descent, after crossing the Ruisseau du Pibou (again), begin the final climb which passes in front of the water treatment plant and rejoins the road.
(7) Turn left to return to the car park at the start (S/E).
