Le Puits sans Fond depuis Febvin-Palfart

The start is next to the church in Febvin-Palfart (1, Rue de Saint-Omer). There is a car park opposite the start sign.

(S/E) Opposite the start sign, turn left onto the D77 and leave the road on your right. At the fork near the cemetery, take the path on the right until you reach the next intersection.

(1) Turn left onto the path, which is the GR®127 "Tour de la Lys". Walk until you reach a road.

(2) Continue straight ahead until you reach Rue à Caillou.

(3) Turn left onto the path, go down this path and walk carefully on the footbridge. Continue to the next crossroads.

(4) Leave the GR®127 and turn left, arriving at a road. Take this road to the right to reach the D77.

(5) Cross it carefully and climb the path that veers off, then after a left turn, heads south-west. Leave the path on the right. Continue to the crossroads at a place called Le Bois Boncourt.

(6) Turn left, following the PR® markings. Leave the path on the left to reach a bend in the D95.

(7) Turn right and follow the road for about 100 metres, then, about 30 metres before the Febvin-Palfart exit sign, take the dirt track on the left. At the entrance to this track, there is a sign saying "No vehicles". At the end of the track, turn right onto the road, then immediately left. You will come to a junction near a pumping station.

(8) Turn right. At the fork, go straight ahead, ignoring the two roads on the right and then the one on the left. You will come to a four-way intersection.

(9) Turn left, then at the next crossroads, turn left again and ignore the two roads on the left to join the D77 with a bus shelter opposite.

(10) Turn left to return to the starting car park (S/E).

At point (2): the route is temporarily diverted pending roadworks (points (3) and (4) are temporarily out of use).

At point (2), here are the new directions: turn left; when you reach the intersection, go straight ahead to join the D77. When you reach the D77, follow the route description from point (5).
