The fig tree in Loos-en-Gohelle

Departure from the Salle Duvauchelle car park.

(S/E) Leave the car park and head towards the Ovide Leroy School. Take the second path on the left, walk alongside the stadium and join the Chemin des Croisettes.

(1) First turn left then right, crossing the road, then continue straight ahead. At the end, turn left along the road, pass under the A21 and take the stairs on the right and continue straight ahead until you reach a fork.

(2) Turn right, join the cycle route, cross Rue Roger Salengro and continue straight ahead until you reach Route de Béthune.

(3) Cross carefully and continue straight ahead until you reach the next junction.

(4) Continue along the cycle route, then take the second right and continue to a junction.

(5) Turn left, then first turn right then left, take the footbridge over the A21, then take the second right and continue straight ahead to reach a fork.

(6) Continue straight ahead and go around the fig tree.

(7) Turn around, keep left at the crossroads, then turn right and return to the crossroads you passed on the way there.

(6) Turn right, retrace your steps in the opposite direction to reach the crossroads at the 11/19 site you passed on the way there.

(5) Go straight ahead, then take the first right, and at the end, make the first turn right then left to reach another crossroads you passed on the way there.

(4) First turn left then right, cross Route de Béthune carefully and continue straight ahead until you reach Rue Henri Becquerel.

(8) Follow this road to the left, turn right at the end and continue straight on until you reach Rue Roger Salengro.

(9) Follow it to the left, pass under the A21 and enter the cemetery on the right to cross it. At the end, keep left and continue straight ahead to reach the entrance to Hill 70.

(10) Turn right, then take the second path on the left. Follow the first path on the right and continue straight ahead until you reach Rue Denfert Rochereau.

(11) First turn left then right and return to the starting point by following the first left a little further on (S/E).
