(S/E) From the top of the Manessier ski lift, walk down alongside it. After 140 m, follow the path leading into the forest on the right. The descent is quite steep for about 500 m. You will then come out onto a forest track with several junctions.
(1) . Turn right, towards the blueberry path. Follow this path for about 1.5 km and cross a ski run for the second time.
(2) Head uphill to the right for 100 m to rejoin the path further up on the left. Turn onto this path. Ignore the path branching off to the left and continue to the three-way junction.
(3) Head up to the right towards the Arête des Zittieux. At the top of the path, you’ll emerge just before the road (RD1090).
(4) Turn right to stay below the road, following a path running along the hillside. You’ll reach the road a few hundred metres further on, at the top station of the Écudets chairlift.
Walk along this road for 500 m before joining a path on your left.
(5) Follow this path, which features wooden footbridges, back to the top of the Manessier ski lift, whilst staying above the road (S/E).
